Default Waited too Long.. Need Advice

I had every intention in going to stage 3, but it's looking pretty bad for me to get a new stage 3 kit.

What are my options for reliability, and simple plug and play to get more REFINED power out of my car?

The AGP stage 3 Delta; seems like a lot of work, and it's not complete (SCT flash).

Could I get the manifold and E2 turbo; get extra power, and maintain drivability?

I'm not trying to do CAMS or some laggy ass 50trim... I'd probably do an IC at the most, and some manifold and slight turbo upgrade if I can deem it worthy.

Please advise.

E2 you wont loss drivability. S3's are very reliable and can be purchased used all day long.

cash

if you're on a budget, you gotta toss some numbers out there - $1k, $2k, whatever.....even a window if you don't feel comfortable putt'n out the exact amount of cash. here're some of the biggest gains that I've gotten, though:

MPx Exhaust - I swear that had to be at least 20whp

FM Stage 1 - think that was 20whp, as well - plug and play, buddy

62mm TB - I'd guess like 10whp....tailor that with the exhaust for a beauuuuutiful, cheap combo

for some cheaper mods that I love:

spoiler caps - I'm sure there's someth'n in the how-to forums. PLUS, you'd be amazed at how far a can of color matched paint at the dealer ($10) will go

180 degree thermostat - $10 @ NAPA - EASY as hell to install, too....think there's a how-to on that, too!!

Stage 1 springs - think you can pick those up for $100....install isn't difficult if you have the equipt., but if not, I wouldn't think it'd be too expensive

Silicone radiator hoses - think you can pick those up for like $50 on the forums - be sure to get T-bolt clamps, though (from Modern Performance) - they don't work well without 'em

Maddog Shifter - like $100.....an AMAZING difference.....toss in a heavy, leather shift knob for $50....I got one myself.....best (and only heavy-leather) shifter ever!!!

good luck, bud!!!

STRONGLY doubt that.. maybe 5 - 10whp.
FM Stage 1 - think that was 20whp, as well - plug and play, buddy

62mm TB - I'd guess like 10whp....tailor that with the exhaust for a beauuuuutiful, cheap combo

not worth it on a close to stock car, ported TB would be fine on the stock turbo

no horse power here

or there

actuaLLy

actuaLLy, the 62mm TB reduces spool time like crazy!!! especially on a stock turbo, which would add power.

LoL, obviously you're not gonna get any power with the silicone radiator hoses or the S1 springs....those're just cheap mods that you can do.

also noticed that 04COMPG didn't really put any goals into the first post....what're you want'n to accomplish with your car?! drag!? all out speed!? amazing handling!? all these're call for different combos.

and I forgot another good, cheap mod - you can get some high temp enamel or epoxy paint and brighten up your brake calipers.....$50 on ebay for the epoxy (look in the 'visual / body mods' section for that) or just pick up a $15 kit from Pep Boys or Auto Zone - only took a few hours and my brakes look INCREDIBLE in comparison!!!

imo you will need a manifold to put a SST/enforcer turbo on. Which requires taking off the stock one anyways so why not go big turbo My 44Lb kit has not been a prob at all since it was put on. And with a SCT flash it drives like stock just with more power. Only complaint I have had with my SST was really bad EGTS which caused alot of knock at the high rpms

Would Like to be reliably near stage3 power.
I have the 180 stat.

I was thinking either SST/Enforcer with the manifold along with the FM WGA on PCM control. I may can use meth and the wga to make a rough tune, and make some good power with this stage 2.

You could do like me and get a AGP s3 delta basic kit. Look for a used stage3 pcm, injectors and fuel pump. Just as reliable as a full mopar stage 3. Probley has better power too.

stock turbo doesnt need any help spooling... full boost before 3000rpm is useless....

then again, if he thinks a 50trim is laggy... im not sure what he really wants... instant power = no top end...

reliable power

ShiiiiiiiiiiiiT, if all you're look'n for is reliable power, FM's got stages of upgrades that are nothing but reliable power. great thing 'bout that is you don't even gotta go to the dyno after.....they've already done all that and know precisely what #'s you're gotta get.

I've been reading up on the E1 turbo, but I have a few questions.
I plan on getting the E1 turbo and FM WGA.

Note: *Please keep in mind of my current MODS..*

1: I've read that with the E1 and ported manifold that I may run into a lean issue.
A: Can this be safely rectified with meth injection?
B: If I lower boost could I make more power and avoid lean condition and still make additional power.

2: If I keep with my current plan and just get the E1 turbo and FM WGA; what can I (approximate values) raise the boost to so that I won't run out of fuel?

stage 2 injectors and a safc would help or a returnline
