Exclamation Thoughts On Srt 03-05' And Upgrades?

my 93 dodge spirit just took a dump on me, so iam getting a new car for christmas.

i was wondering which car i should get(03-05'), not obviously choosing the 05' because the upgrades but be maybe the difference is minimal. i havnt done any googling on either but i will after i post this.

when i decide on the year of car, i certainly want to get some decent upgrades along the way.

my dad is a mechanic, however iam a novice when it comes to cars in general.

i dont want to put nitrous in my car. im not trying to go that far.

i dont know what parts ill need with certain mods, but here is what i got so far for just PERFORMANCE.

PERFORMANCE:
-Mopar stage 1 upgrade turbo kit
-Mopar BOV
-Mopar Short Throw Shifter with Mopar Viper STS Shift Knob
-Mopar 7.5mm Spark Plug Wires with NGK 4306 plugs
-Mopar Stage 2 Wastegate
-Mopar Exhaust 03-05 SRT4
-Perrin Silicone Short Ram Intake System or AEM Short Ram Intake 03-05 SRT-4

id appreciate all criticism, comments, or help.

thankyou

Good luck finding one that hasn't been modded or hacked all to hell. But anyway what you need to figure out first is what are your goals for your srt? Daily driver? Weekend drag racing? Weekend road racer? That's where you should start then go from there.

im gonna use it to drive daily, and to do some weekend racing. mostly to drive and just fool around a bit. in the future i hope to do some drags. but right now totally just routine driving and maybe some highway/road racing.

Thats a good start, good mod set up for drive ability. BOV and intake aren't necessary though. Might want to look into motor mounts or tractions bars if you don't want wheel hop.

for the original list, take out the plugs, wires, bov, stg2 wga, and intake, and add in solid motor mounts and an agp or kinetic wga, and you should enjoy the car much more! if you want a bov sound, take the top off of the airbox and just drive like that, so much better than paying a few hundred for an aftermarket intake that won't add hp.
