Default Super 20g srt

Hey whats up guys, I need a little info..

My boy is selling a 20g kit witch he took off his car after he blew the motor (runing high boost no fuel)

He said he would sell it to me for 500 with new gaskets and bolts since he bought a zeta.

Heres my questions

what could i max that turbo out at?
my goal is 350 dd

Could I drive the car around safe on low low boost untill I get tuned?

I have a 255 wally and stage one injectors could those 2 feed it enough fuel?

Also can I keep my dsp for AGP to tune my car with??

Can I run the 20g on PCM controlled boost?? or just use a boost controller??

Thanks

From my understanding their are more efficient turbos now-a-days. Better powerband ect.

I disagree I had one on my car and made 341 whp and 377 wtq on a mustang dyno on 20 psi tuned on a dsp and I put 20k miles on it with no problems and I was in no way nice to it.

That turbo isnt great. If it blows you have to junk the whole kit. No other turbo fits the mani. Lets say you get a reg ole 50 trim. if the turbo blows swap the turbo and your moving again.

Not really great numbers...

They are terrible turbos. They have a shitty power band and there no upgrading to them. Its not like you can just fit a bigger turbo in there. Ive heard of people putting bigger wheels in them but they become even more inefficient.

Its takes 30PSI spikes and completely abusing the turbo to make some real numbers.

Not even worth it IMO.

I'm thinking that's what it would take to get the numbers he has claimed.

I wouldn't personally go with a 20G as they are very outdated. Maybe if he just gave you the kit.

By the way Mitsubishi has had great success with 20g's and Hahn racecraft is a great company. These turbos are not balls out max hp turbos. They make good power and super fk'in reliable. They are a great turbo if you are just looking for a lilttle more than stock. They put out power levels of around a stage 3. 350/350 is pretty easily achieved with this turbo and can max out around 420/4xx from what I hear

I had one years ago. I actually liked it. I ran it at 24 psi on pump gas with a dtec tune for about 30,000 miles. I made 360 hp and the car felt good. spooled the same as my 50 trim tho. If your getting the whole kit for $500 I'd take it.
