No matter what a Blow-Off

Or when you let off the gas, decelerate, clutch...Anything that makes pressure difference between the BOV and the attadching line.

When you let off the gas, or drive part throttle, you can make the BOV actually blow off for like 5 or 6 seconds.
I have done it many many times, even showed rugoinup. This also happens if you have your BC "T" 'ed into the blue line.

Now that I know better I use the stock BOV routing.

No, and that is what I staed earlier in the thread.

Raptor, icarus, acr2nv,second chance, alertego, rugoinup all can back this up. Matter of fact, I * think* alertego is using mopar BOV.He made 268whp this week with a tune from Hector.

Rugoinup made a 13.3 pass on slicks runing about 19PSI using the WG, and stock BOV routing.

Cali, do you still have to reset your computer occasionally?
Just a wastegate boosting to 18 psi, hooked up like the stock one, eventually drops it's boost down to 13.

At least that's what we've noticed down here.

Cali,

Question for you. I have a manual boost controller and the Mopar BOV. Where should everything be plugged in at for vacuum routing?

Take a look at the diagram. One line that no one brough up is the line that connects to the intake/airbox neck. If you were to follow this line you will find that it is a direct boost leak. For the life of me I can not figure out why they did this. To only reason I could come up with, is to control boost response and reduce spikes by bleeding off pressure. If you remove this line you will notice MUCH faster boost spoolup and response.

Bear with me, cause it's a long walk to my car.
The hose you're refering to runs from the airbox/intake to where exactly? I'm guessing it doesn't just end, thus dumping boost.

It is the first "T" right off the compressor next in line is the check valves. Turn your engine on and pull off that line then use your hand to open the throttle body and rev the engine. I bet you will feel boost.

To the very far right of the pic where it says "to air cleaner" that is the line I am referring to.

I think I get it. So basically that line is just running boost right from the turbo to the air box, for no apparent reason?

We did 12.30s with the stock BPV hooked up our way on DOT tires.
