i understand that with toys has more cooling abilities so with my used 2003 srt4 with 120k miles is it safe for me to run a stage 2 w/o toys set up? or will i be over heating after one 1/4 run? will it work my car to hard?
The only thing I can think of as far as cooling goes is the Intercooler sprayers that the toys kit comes with, which only cool the intake charge going to the motor.
I don't forsee any problems with you adding a Stage 2 kit to your car at all, provided nothing is wrong with it. These motors are quite strong. However the transmission is another story...lol.

as far as not running it with toys is okay but theres so much more potential out of it to unlock. You can do the required bolt-ons like bfmic, tbe 3 with no cat a must, shortshifter.
Later on you can see if you can get the toys option added in with some meth injection perhaps a nice tune along the line to lean it out a little and turn up the boost and you should be good.
