this may sound dumb but we're still learning newer cars , to have the desired horse power effect must you use stage 1 stage 2 and stage 3 in conjunction with eachother or are they able to be stand alone upgrades ?

ive been told that you can turn your boost up to about 15lbs and thats safe... At least thats what Modern Performance told me and a few techs at the dealership.

Thumbs up

nice write up I my self am gonna be a mix of mopar and aftermarket I agree most with people rushing into high boost (problems) with my wga I will only spike about 16-17 holding 14-15 alot of my buddys are running low to mid 13's on this setup a good set of tires is always a good mod to lower 60' to the 2.0-1.8 range

They're stand-alone. You can start off with Stage 3 if you want.

Default Cold air intakes?

I bought an otto racing cold air intake for my srt and I'm not sure that its a true cold air, unless I 'm missing something. Any help or experience would be great[IMG]

This thread IS helpful for [noobies] me.
Thanks!

...and at the risk of getting killed here for not searching properly and re-posting old news (you folks can be harsh), I found this regarding mods and warranty inspections. It was interesting reading ("For internal use only... do not distribute outside DaimlerChrysler" - oops.).

http://www.agpturbo.com/images/aftermarket.pdf#search='2005%20dodge%20srt4'

...but maybe some of you already knew that.

Hey guys! I'm a noob in this forum. Just got my SRT 4 about a week ago. I want to put some mods on it and read the great guide here.

I am thinking about putting in the SBR Turbo kit, has anyone tried this out yet? http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=5518&

I dont want to add the extra power without modding the suspension and the mounts. What do you guys recommend? Should I switch out my sway bars? my springs, shocks?

Any help will be appreciated.

The advise is very helpful, I just picked up an '05 and I have a couple of questions. If I were to buy the stage III mopar kit, is there parts in it that the engine already has being an '05. The reason I ask is that some guys said the later models had larger injectors and different pcm. What kind of horsepower from the stage III kit is realistic? I bought the car to play with but i have always built rock crawling comp buggie and competed, so this is a first on the street.

04' and 05' come with stage 1 injectors and limited slip. 03' don't. that's about the only difference i know of. as far as stage3, none of the cars come with any of the parts.

stage 3 is a nice jump into performance from what i hear. so if you think the car is bad ass stock, wait till you put the kit on
