i'm new to this and dont know where to post but i want to get some advice i'm looking into a greddy GT2871R or GT30 i want to run on pump gas is that safe??
i was in the same boat at one point i went with the stage 3r kit insted just because of the fact that you get every thing you need. fuel pump injectors, pcm, ect. and its just all bolt on the work is done for you. then if you want down the road you can add bolt-ons from there, mopar did it right with the stage kits thats for shure..
but on the same hand it's totaly up to you and what you wana do!!
good luck!

you need something to clamp the boost that the computer sees (DTEC, SAFC NEO, map clamp, ect.). you also want a wideband to monitor your AFR's to make sure that you are not leaning out. also if you are going to boost more, i would highly suggest an exhaust at the least. downpipe usually helps too. between an exhaust, downpipe, wastegate, and map clamp, you usually can make at least 15-20 more hp. hope that helps! remember, mod safe!
check out the vendor section at the bottom of the main forums page. i guarantee you will find PTP there. PTP is a vendor here for all things SRT-4. stands for personal transportation performance.
i know i am a noob for asking, but what is WOT shifting, i always read about that, but i dont understand. btw i dont own an srt..yet so cut me some slack.
WOT shifting is wide open throttle shifting. In a turbo car like the srt staying on the gas during shifts is a way to reduce or eliminate turbo lag.
...old but I was reading through this guy for the first time and it gave me a chuckle.
Great thread for someone just starting off in the sport compact world who needs to know vocab before he can learn how it all fits together and works (That would be me)
