mods are godspeed fmic, stage two wg, grennitelli coil/wires, ngk iridiums, aem cai, stock turbo. 3' catless dp with 3" straight piped side exit
After installing the downpipe my srt started overboosting. My thoughts are with the less restricted exhaust is causing it. plan was to unlock my dsp to try and turn the boost down and see if that fixes it. what do yous think.? |

Before i was spiking 20 and holding at 17psi and after putting the downpipe on its boosting way over 20 psi. i have stock boost gauge and it just keeps going till the needle is facing straight down. and all vacuum lines are good. check them today and replaced one.

Do you have an afr gauge?
Your probably running lean now too. I would reset your fuel trims, turn down the target boost and re tune the afrs. And if you have an exsauhst leak your afr gauge will be off.(before o2 bung) |

yes both o2 sensor are still on car. and i know why do u think i said i did not put the dsp tune on the car yet. because they run lean so im not putting it on till i buy a wideband so i can see when it leans out and i can add the additional amount of fuel it will need

idk about the lean part. the other day i started my car and all i could smell was gas coming out the side exit. but the boost gauge looks like it will keep going but im not going to see because it not good to be boosting that much on stock turbo all i can see is it goes past 20 psi on my stock gauge

Honestly man i would Recheck your vacuum lines. I did the car boosted good before and the vacuum lines are crack free and in the right spots for the setup i have. i checked many times. |
