Shame Shame no boost leak test all this time. Needs to be like a monthly event with S3. Lol

Once you get teh o-ring, re-test. Once you have all the leaks up to 25 psi figured out, reset the ECU & give it some time to learn. Should be a better result. S3 hates leaks.

oshawa SRT's setup is 44lb wheel not a 47

the 47lb a853rox is speaking of is essentially an FP Green....

Nope. The FP green is the same comp wheel (47lb) but ALSO with an upgraded turbine wheel too. Which I offer as well. That combo will be good for 500+

ok i finaly took my stg 3 down to the track and ran the car in the 1/8th. i was expecting to run 8.7 or so. well my best time was a 9.005 at 85mph and a 60ft of 2.2sec. i was very disappointed. i have stock motor mounts but have BC coilovers to fix the problem of wheel hop. what should i think of that time? i'm not very happy. i have to bring 3 things tho into consideration: 2nd time ever running at the track, stock motor mounts and street tires.
i have ported turbo/mani, AGP stg3 wag., stock PCM, stg 2 injectors, 255 fuel pump, AEM CAI, tune w/NEO, AEM wideband, straight 3" exhaust, CCA IC, and pushing bout 20psi. 25psi is to much for the car, it back fires all the way up to redline and slows the car way down. how can i improve my times? i really wanna run mid 8's some how:-(

Well it seems like some of the best power increases (without getting a larger wheel) come from porting and opening things up from the reading around I've done. Am I right? What do you guys think of this: stock wheel, DCR antisurge porting and ramp mod, PTP ported intake manifold and larger throttle body. Should that be good for some pretty decent gains on pump gas?

Nitrous is the best power increase.
All that other shit is way too expensive.

Dude, there are like 20 things that could be off. Too hard to internet diagnose.

nope, no wheel hop at all w/ the coilovers. i set them to 5 of 32 settings.

the car runs great and has a afr of 11.2-12.4 i could prolly get the afr range to be a lil closer together but still don't think i'm going to be getting close to mid 8's. it was bout 91 degrees that day too so that mite be a factor too.

ok never mind what i ran that day. since there is ppl on here who have much more experiance than me, with the mods i listed, what would u think my time should of been about? maybe if some1 gave me a picture of what times i should expect then maybe i wont set my standards to high. i'm sure i'm not the only srt w my mods who has ran b4.

Enough said. Why would you expect anything better? The answer is obvious, more practice and something better than street tires. They're hard enough to drive stock, I can't imagine trying to get decent times with stage 3 and street tires.

Did you have HOM on?

Stock ECU. HOM not an option.

With all the variables out of the equation I would guess low 8's & low 90's.

With a bastard setup though it's tough to say. STREET TIRES AT THE 1/8th mile & WONDERING WHY IT'S SLOW = FTL. Try not spinning or bogging.

Thanks J. I checked it just over 20psi after and there was the usual small one at the rice plate and another small one at the hot side of the AIS that sounded like a high pitched kazoo. I'll get to that one when I get under it this weekend to adjust my toe from 1.5 in out back to 0. Then I'll retest, change plugs, and reset the ECU if all is well.

BTW- What do think of the 2 step colder plugs?

One step colder is sufficient.
