Bought a new cold side larger pipe and it did not have a nipple to connect the red vacuume line, so I plugged it. What's that gonna do to me? Car seems to run well.

I believe that connects to your TIP sensor. Im pretty sure the only effect it will have is the car will no longer be able to throw an overboost code.
Lots of people cap it off.

Cool! Thanks. In the dead of winter at -10 degrees my car has maxed out my 30lb boost guage with this red vac line off and has not thrown a code come to think of it, so that makes sense. Some times it idles really high and if I shut it off and restart it then it goes away, thought maybe that was the cause.
ok, i have the mods in sig and im in the market for a clutch. I want to know what clutch you guys are running. i hit the drag strip maybe once or twice a year (on street tires) so i dont think the monster clutches like the sbc 5x are what i need. it seems like overkill to me. this is my daily driven car and currently my only car so i need streetability. future mods include a possible big wheel upgrade so keep that in mind

I just got the SBC stage 4 modular and so far it's pretty good haven't had a chance to really get on cause I'm still breaking it in (750 miles sucks). It seems a lil grabby in first but I guess that's to be expected since it's the same material as the stage 5.

I have this one too (with a fidanza) and after ~200-300mi it really started to smooth out a bit. Pretty much like stock feel other than 1st gear or reverse. I can definately tell that this clutch wants to grab and hold. It's still way better than any puck design for not being 'all or nothing' though. Oh and I was told that you need ~200mi+ of stop and go traffic to wear ~.001-.002" off the friction surface in order to properly break it in. That was from SBC direct but I wanted to play it safe and did that for ~1K.

I can't wait till this clutch is broken in. My stock clutch was slipping so bad and so long that I don't know what stg 3 feels like any more. I didn't know the clutch was bad until I tried to punch it in 3rd and it felt like I hit a wall.

I hear ya. Last year I put on slicks for the first time and fried my clutch on the 2nd run. I didn't think it would be an issue (I was on the stock turbo at the time) but the clutch didn't like it. I guess with all the portwork and the fact that I was pushing ~380ftlbs of tq by 3K she had finally had enough....

yea when mine comes into boost she starts to slip. I dynod 140hp, cause the damn stock clutch. It was only running 21psi of boost and i was gonna turn her up to 26psi.
My SB S3 clutch comes on thursday and goes in on friday.
ok, i did some research on my own and i think ill go with the sbc stage 3. im kinda on a budget and I need a good rugged clutch even though im not gonna be sticking mickey thompsons under her.
About how long would you say a stock clutch will hold up with stage 3 w/toys? Right now I got 23,000 miles on my car. Will be installing stage 3 pretty soon. Just hopeing to get a little bit out of the stock clutch. It holds great right now with mods in my sig.
