Some are able to hold HOM on 100 octane, and some aren't. I'm one of the lucky ones that can hold through all 5 gears.

(I haven't installed mine yet)
Dang . . . S3R runs so freakin rich. Having rich A/F will keep you safe but hides power and burns alot of gas. A good a/f would be around 11.5. On the stock turbo I run around 12.0. Have you tried turning up the boost more? Maybe to about 24psi. Most people so far are having good results from the AGP S3R WGA.

I just run straight 100 octane, and nothing else. Holds like a charm.

Default Hom

I'm lucky I guess. I've got a station by me with "VP racing" 110 octane unleaded. It's $5.99 per gallon right now but a week ago it was only $5.45 per gallon.

I put my first tank in without the empty tank light blinking and it never dropped out period!

Unfortunatly, it's like crack once you run it with HOM you don't want anything else.

You all suck. Shell 93 is what I use everyday. We used to have Sunoco 94 and in some towns Sunoco GT100 but we're beat now.

Yeh,
Two years ago when I first moved here there were like 4 or 5 stations with 100 Octane. They seem to have all discontinued to carry it or have gone out of buisness.

I think the only reason this station still caries it is because it is close to Jackson, SC (1/4 mile) race track. That and we have a drag boat gathering here on the Savanna River every year.

I'll just enjoy it while it's available. But I hope I don't have to go through withdrawels!

I've been waiting till the check fuel light then I use 10 gallons of 105 unleaded and it drops me out of HOM every damn time in higher revs especially 4th gear. I don't know where to get 110 or if that will even work for my car. Could the problem be my fuel pump? I'm at a loss here..

I put 100 gt in today and it drops me out of the top of 4th, some times it holds. But, I do need some new motor mounts though, mine are worn and I can easily see how it doesn't help.

I do giggle everytime the car loses traction ~ 4000 rpm going 60 mph. Scared the piss out a teenager driving next to me. LOL...

Now if LORDHELMET_1 gets a thread like that on his setup as well, I may be finally able to make up my mind.
