stays at 20psi till i get in the upper rpm range so thats what made me think maybe spark blowout was really starting to make the motor see knock at the knock sensor ......boost falls hard to 15 at like 5000rpms ......does the ecu see sparkblowout as knock ?

Have you reset the ECU yet? If so, how's it working out for you now?

Man, that's a question I've been asking for a while and can't get a response. I've ordered S3 and waiting. I have all 3 AGP solid mounts and was wanting to know if this will skew the knock sensor readings too.

Anyone can help . . .

Well, I've had mine on for about 200 miles.
No boost leaks and no problems as of yet.

I've run my S3 with toys on 3 solid boomba race mounts (which are probably stiffer than agp's) and had no problem holding HOM. Of course, I run a minimum of 108 octane usually, but that just makes sure I don't fall out. In fact, running such High octane ensures that if you do fall out of HOM, it is usually caused by something other than detonation. You typically won't detonate on 108 or higher octane, unless something is very wrong.

Thanks. Feel better now. I was worried that I would have to take off all these for HOM sakes.

Maybe the next subject to talk about is something that I've been PMing some of you about; having the turbo ported. I've seen alot of people complaining about the 3500rpm spool that this does. So I was thinking of just having the exhaust manifold ported and ceramic coated. Anyone else with thoughts or ideas?

Well this problem hasn't been pinpointed yet and it looks to just be a wga issue. People with DCR work and an agp s3 wga get tons of boost at 3k rpm and it come on quick. We think that all this boost is overloading the stock wga and the spring gets "shocked" and can't open fast enough. All the people with this problem have the s3 stock wga. I first didn't get full boost until 4100 rpm, a few twists of my wga made it 3400. That's a big difference and almost pinpoints the wga as the cause.
Trust me, if you're going to do porting do both. Exhaust manifold porting alone isn't going to gain you a whole lot...
