Well got wind of a pretty inexpensive dyno day local to me, with free bbq to boot, so figured for fiddy bucks i would bring my shit down and see what it makes. I havent ever gotten a succesful dyno on the spray since last time i made the trip to try, my window switch was set incorrectly and i just got 3 pulls off the bottle.
Those 3 pulls were on a Mustang Dyno at Autospeed Performance in south Jersey over the winter after i just got the kit installed. I made 242/260 on my exact setup off nitrous. Im working on getting them to email me that graph. At the track when i again, by accident forgot the nitrous on button, that was a 12.8@105.
Here is the graph:
Someone said these dyno's were the type out of the bunch that read low, so even still i am not all that unhappy with my numbers. The car did heatsoak real bad after two close runs but after ten mins in front of the fan all was well. So i know its not the same dyno, but i picked up a lot of power off the 75 shot. I would have put in my 100 jets but the idiot at the speed shop gave me a 41 fuel jet instead of a 31.
96xxx mile Stock Turbo, S0 and no porting. C16 Used.
Mods-
NX 75 Wet Shot
3" o2/Downpipe
Kinetic WGA @ 18-20 on nitrous (15 off)
HSF1 w/ M1 on @ 10psi
Hard UICP w/ RS
I just got a DTEC and have an appointment to finally get a tune so hopefully once im running 20+psi with the meth the nitrous will be even betterThen maybe this turbo will die already so i can upgrade lol
I dyno on the same type of Mustang Dyno in my area and they do dyno low. abut 10.8 percent on HP and 13.4 percent on torque. If you raise it by that then you will get approx the dynojet numbers.
Those are very good numbers.
My 44lb stage 3 dynoed 340hp and 358 ft lbs on a MD and it was good enough for 119 -120 mph traps on 93 pump so you made higher numbers than me. Good job.

Def really good numbers for a mustang dyno & those minimal mods.
Who's tuning your DTEC?
These guys whom i dyno'd at gave me a competetive price for the tuning as far as time on the dyno is concerned. The owner aka guy in my car on the dyno is the one who put a old 2.2 dodge into the 10's in the mid 90's before he started fucking with m3's so he is confident in making more power with my minimal setup. My "pump" setup is on 100 since its on pump 1 mile from my casa, and he was all about trying to push my car for all its worth
nitrous pulls would of course be on a heavy dose of 116
if not him, then im going down the street to ivey where its 500/tune :/...my buddy is tuning his 2g/srt swap at his shop thurs so depending on whether his 50t puts good power depends on where i go...
any suggestions??? just wanna make decent power on 100/meth before i spray

Thanks addicted, i was wondering the transfer to a dynojet, so like i said i cant really be complaining with the numbers. I havent trapped quite as high as your s3 setup was pulling up top, but im hoping with maybe a few more key mods i can jump to the 4xx/4xx mark...

I'm in the process of either gonna try to get tuned by Ivey or Turbotrix now. I take it Sean Ivey's shop is close to your house right? Mark @ TT isa nasty tuner too, but I needa re-tune on my car ASAP.

Lemme know how you make out.
why not have someone who knows this car in and out tune it? like n2mb or realtune.
there were like maybe 25 people there, and there were like one or two N/A E36's before me, and they were like...well that was the most uneventful dyno of the day lol..bla im happy for a stock snail

Yea i have had nothing but bad experiences with TT, and i would only suggest you spend you money with ivey dude. I cant count on one hand the number of 4g63 owners dyno there and tune whether it be AEM or flash and go elsewhere and do some tweaking and see upwards of 40wheel. I take nothing away from his tuning ability, but every time i have seen cars on the dyno there, it seems like he is just trying to get the tune on the car and get them out ASAP...left a bad taste in my mouth when i saw a 1G 42r (kid i bought my NX kit off of) dyno 588 there on mark's tune, after paying $xxx and then pay another couple hundred to do the pulls himself and make more power.
Ivey has been very reasonable with friends of mine with retunes and little tweaks free of charge, and i appreciate his attitude unlike TT.
only thing is with your AEM he will lock it so that you cant pilfer his tunes, which is a bitch if you want to adjust something yourself. once tuned there your committed, or thats what happened at least with a friends 8 that has been tuned by ivey, and stands by his shit 110%. Liek i said, this was found out like a few months back when we went out in his 8 before he blew his FP green and we were like..password wtf?? called ivey and he invited us over free of charge.
i've contemplated it, but its really a full day experience getting the car there/back and god forbid some shit goes awry on the dyno. It probably would be best for him since hes built up rather nicely w/ EMS/HTA35r etc, but for me im just a lowly stock/stock/stock+nitrous car :/, so to jump back on the dyno and have the tuner be 35 mins away is key, and a good selling point IMO.
Was that a 4th gear pull??? Seems to end pretty quick....
that would be a 4th gear pull, yes.
i think it was from 2500-6k on the dyno @ WOT . my car has stock motor/head and s0 ecu, so i dont even have the option of revving higher I would imagine it would be nice just to have an extra 500rpms or so
