Default my ptperformance turbo kit(pics inside)

I first must say how wonderful it is to work with this guy. He is very quick to get back to you when you pm him and always helpful in anyway he can whether it be with his products or helping you find a solution to something else. Anyhow on to the turbo stuff. I ordered the .50 Trim .63 A/R housing which also contains: Stainless Oil Inlet And Fitting, Drain Line Fitting,Tial Wastegate,Stainless 02 Housing, Recirculating Dump Tube. I went to a friends house to take the pictures with his digi cam and wow I am amazed at how well it all looks. With this kit I also ordered a stage 4 clutch from him that I am waiting on so hopefully it comes soon that way I can break it in and get some tunage done. I should have the kit installed this weekend if my mechanic has the time to. I talked with him about clocking the turbo(have instructions printed out) so we will get that squared away. The only thing I didnt really see is what to do with the water lines. My mechanic said thats not a problem to take care of, but wanted to ask here to see if someone can fill me in if there is something special that needs to be done about the water lines since its not a water cooled turbo. Well here are the pics of my kit. The ported stock turbo in the pic is from FBM that I am selling in the buy/sell section(have buyer and waiting on money), but used it in the picture for size comparisons. Thanks to my friend over at www.teamslowmotion.com for hosting the picsWell here are the pictures....

Looks good, nice to see how small our stock turbos are. Let me know if you need any help (over the phone the best I can do). Looks like you had a ported turbo and the inlet still looks small.

That looks nice. I like the fact that they are using the tial waste gate. I have that on the turbo setup on my bike for almost a year now and now issues with it! How much was that setup?? I am going to be purchasing a GT35 turbo kit by FEB and am shopping around.

Make sure you get a hold of me, I have the GT3540R set up for a great deal and can swap out for different AR housings to meet your needs. All my turbo kits come with Tial componets, only the best!!!

Well I already have a walbro 255 fuel pump and will be ordering some 750 injectors this afternoon. Until those get in I will only have the stage 2 injectors that are already on the car to play with. Although doesnt matter too much because I got to have the clutch broken in first before turning up the boost and getting on it. Ptperformance has a mod coming out soon that I will be getting that is going to keep everyone from having a return fuel line itself. So I was going to order a return fuel setup, but since I already have the fuel pump and will have the injectors soon there is no need to due to the mod ptperformance is coming out with.

Yes I agree tial is the best. Looks as though you pm'd him on the pricing so your straight that way. Just holding this turbo in one hand and the stock one in the other let me know how small it really was. I cant wait to crank the boost up

Wow, very nice kit. I really like the recirculated wastegate dump. From all the kits that are out right now, this looks to be right up there with the best. Good job ptperformance

everytime I see the comparison between the stock turbo and an aftermarket one, it just makes me laugh how small the stock turbo is.
Anyway, that's a nice looking setup!

Looks like you got yourself some work ahead of you. I just installed my 50 trim last Sat. and it was easy. BTW, to answer your question, you need to cap one of the water lines and use a plug (included in the kit) and screw that into the block itself.

Sweet thanks alot man I appreciate it. I spoke with my mechanic today and we may be able to do it this sunday, but if not it will have to wait until next sunday. He is finishing up the rebuild on a hemi drag motor. Well I will let everyone know how things go. Thanks for all the compliments and if you have any questions feel free to ask and I will try my best.
