Just to be clear, I don’t want to go the DSP route for now, maybe later, not right now.
I just installed my S2 without toys last night and wanted to add one more mod. I’ve had my S2 wga on prior to the S2 set up and it held boost fine. Which of the two would it be more beneficial for me to go with for right now? I don't have any specific goals, just want to know which of the tow I should order tonight.
Manual boost controller or FM wga (PCM controlled or non PCM controlled).
I just want my boost to spike and hold at 17psi.
I have about ~$160 to spend so help me out here. My mods are in my sig.

I'm on MBC + Stage II wastegate, and I really like it. I've felt the best gains from this combination. I am OFF PCM-controlled boost. Best $100.00 spent for both performance parts. Unless you want to run 6-7 psi with the Stage II WGA alone, you HAVE to have a boost controller to spike and hold more.
FM wga definitely. Don't waste your time with the MBC. Been through MBCs, FM wga, AGP wga, stock wga, and by far the FM wga was the best for the car. This was on an E1 turbo car BTW.
never put a mbc on the stock turbo. makes boost fall off faster and surge
