lots of noob questions

ive recently look into buying a neon srt. besides the fact that it is fwd and makes 230 to the wheels i dont know anything else. what i would like to know is wat kinda aftermarket turbo kits are out there and any other aftermarket upgrades. i would also like to see ppls setup on their car and how much they puttin down. btw i got a 240 thats just stock to the bone

oh boy....u got a journey ahead of you........

well, these cars are like legos in that theres all kinds aftermarket parts that bolt up and all work together and shit.........

the nice thing is that these engines perform great, theres alot of tiny mods that are cheap that can get u to easily hit low 13's maybe 12's ......

check out.....check valve, dcr oil modifier, balance shaft removal, fuel pump relay...and theres others obviously that im not listing. do the above plus stg2 injectors(usually 150 used)...plus an adjustable wga and you put down good power for around 500 or less on the stock snail.

to help us out more tell us how much power you want to make. Or what times you would like to run. Aim high since you will alwasy want more power later.

lol...when i bought mine i planned for 650(just got rid of my supra)....now i ve settled for 400-500.....

start reading around the forums there's so many options for upgraded turbos

AGP, Hahn, SST, etc.

For basic turbo with simple bolt-ons and nothing more the car can be made fairly quick (see sig). ($600 in bolt-ons, $400 in monitoring hardware)

stge 3 with bolt ons will have u at the 330-350 ish mark

if you wanna go cheap, get the Enforcer 2 turbo..it bolts to the stock manifold, plus the things i mentioned before, plus all typical boltons, plus large TB and intercooler with all piping.....running on maybe stg2 w/toys......it'll pull HARd....hit the HOM button and that setup should make your ass time travel.........buy most that shit used seriously...you'd only spend about 2-3k

2-3k is actullay cheap for me. right now with sr20,240 ill have to spend a little more than 4k to get it to run 400 and im really just looking for a new car too.
