Just installed FM WGA, Love it, but have a few ?'s
First, did I install this correct?
I turned it to spiking 15-16, but when that drops down it starts to flutter uncontrollable around 12-14 psi. i just zip tied everything at the same time, though i did not have a chance to leak test though, but the gauge did not flutter like that before the WGA, which is what is wierd.

thats what the instructions said if i have a stage kit though, for a stock pcm, it said, make sure the eye fits directly over the flapper, which is exactly what i did

Ok then put a little bit of tension on it. Like 1/16 to an 1/8 inch. It will solve the issue.

ok, which way will i be adjusting it more towards the driver or passagner side.
and what does this do by adding tension, is the WG opening the flapper prematurely.
just so it slides tightly over the flapper. you will be boosting alot higher, so it takes a few days up to a week for the pcm to adjust to normal boost levels.....if you have s1 injectors, 18 and lower psi wont be a problem.......if you boost over that then take it easy for a few days til the pcm adjusts.........
the flapper allows an exhaust leak to reduce boost..
keeping it shut assures proper boosting. having it lose makes you boost later and not as efficient, you'll notice with it closed kinda tight, that you'll boost smoother and nice and quick .
ok so just rotate the eye arm a bit back, and slide it back on. if im boosting to much your saying dont lower the adjusting nut and let the pcm fix it??? like how tight it tight?

just LISTEN to TurboMoparGod. you dont have to take the arm off to adjust just lossen the jam nut and adjust it then tighten it back up.
edit i thought it was like agp one. you have to take it off

You do not have to remove the arm from the wg flapper to increase or decrease the boost with the FM wga. All you need is a 11mm or 7/16 open ended wrench, turn the wrench towards the firewall for more boost, or turn the wrench towards the valve cover for less boost. It will stay put without a jamb nut that's the way they designed it to be.

im not looking to up the boost, i just wanna make the guage stop flutering so much, and you guys said it was because i installed the arm to loose

Ok Ok... Take the FM wga arm off the wg flapper. Now pull the wg flapper fully closed which is towards the FM wga. Now adjust the FM wga arm to where you have to pull it a 1/16 to an 1/8 of an inch to get it on the wg flapper stud. Now disconnect the battery for 30 seconds then reconnect. It should take about 1-4 days depending on how you drive for the pcm to adjust and enjoy!!!!
