Default JM Fab intake manifold owners

I need some measurements off someone that has an installed JM Fab intake mani.

I'm not sure if it will fit with my intake/fuel pressure regulator/catch can setup that I have now, so I need some measurements if someone is willing to help.

While we're at it, if anyone has purchased this manifold what is your setup & how do you like it? Noticeable gains? Any input is appreciated.

cant help you with measurements, but i was looking at one of these myself to go along w/ my 50 trim until i saw the price .... heres some info from a website that i found about the gains...

"They are available unpolished or with a mirror like polish. Expected gains can be anywhere from 10-40hp depending on your setup. This intake manifold is more designed for drag racing where most of your time is spent in the upper RPM range, you will lose a little bit of low end power due to the large sized plenum, but it's well worth it.
So how do we know that it really works.....well just look at the dyno graph below. The test car was equipped with 50 trim turbo kit, 2.5" IC piping, 2.5" exhaust system, upgrade FMIC, 19psi, and pump gas. The result was a 24hp and 10ft/lb increase in power over the stock intake manifold."

Yeah, I've read all that. I actually talked to JMFab on the phone a few months back when I was going to buy the intake. I was a bit skeptical before, but now I think I'm going to buy it. If I don't like it then I'll just switch back to a P&P'ed stocker.

I need to find how far up the TB/UPP is. I'm afraid that my intake & FPR might hit the pipe. If it does, then I might just get a custom sheet metal intake manifold made that will use the stock-type cold side pipe.

Nate had mentioned something along those lines...it wasn't set in stone though.

Willy (CTI) started the plans for an intake manifold a couple years ago, but hasn't had anyone willing to drop off their car to get one fabbed up. I spoke with him briefly last year when he was fabbing up my tubular intake mani, harness bar, etc. about making a sheet metal intake manifold.

Today I happened to stop by CTI to pick up a few things & asked again about the possibility of making one. He's in the middle of a couple projects (2 8-to-9 second Grand nationals, one of them being his ). Once he's done working on the 2 projects, he can start on the intake mani. I told him that I can drop the car off for as long as it's needed, as long as I get the car back by April 1st so I can get to the track. From the sounds of it, I should be dropping my car off within the next month or so to start this.

Nothing crazy, just a 4" CTI intake, bwoody catch can & Aero FPR. All of which are mounted on/near the battery tray (in the vicinity of the UPP on the AGP/DCR/JMF intake mani).

Those are some older pics, but you get the point.

After speaking with Willy, he's going to try to design it so that it will work with the stock style IC piping.
