Intercooler damaged. Fixable? - SRT Forums

So I went to install a CTI intercooler I purchased and the piping wouldn't line up. After further investigation I noticed on the side it was dented in pulling the pipe on the cold side torwards in.

As you can see here with the hot side in the cold side is pretty off.

Is there any hope in this being fixable? I contacted the seller and he said he was going to file a claim with USPS, but I also filled a claim with paypal requesting a full refund in case.

a little heat would fix that....

Should be a pretty simple fix, if you don't have the tools just take it to an exhaust place

Would rather have somebody else mess with it. Exhaust shop would be the place to go?

I would try to find a performance fab shop in the area and see if they can heat it up and bend it back. Should be able too.

I would ask a refund. He sold it me first. The salt damage is so bad on that homie. And it came to me like what your dealing with first. It had a dent to me. Here's my pics. Yea I didn't see it for sale after I sent it back. I documented everything. He packed it like shit. No bubble wrap etc. He said "it's metal it's strong". If I seen it posted I would have warned but I have all texts etc and his number if he gives any issues etc for a scammer. Below is how I sent it back to him so it didn't get damaged. That's fully large bubble wrapped then in a box filled with packing. Good luck. He tried to blame me so watch out. He sold it to you with all that damage already. Unless he magically got a second one. But if it has the same wear marks etc then yea.
