If you imagine other peoples cars are just like yours, because in the 15,000 other threads like this they are literally just like yours you will be hearing the same thing in those threads as I'm sure a few people in this one will say.
Bigger turbo than a 50 trim if you want 500.
Bigger fuel, get some meth injection in there if you want to remain on pump. If you can do e85 you will need a more complex/larger fuel system for 500.
Get a clutch that can handle 500tq.
If your trans is tired then you need to freshin it up to handle the power.
A upper IC pipe/cold side pipe, BOV.
A way to tune.
Overall maintence on the vehicle. Electrical, mechanical, etc.
Get those accomplished and you can start worrying about 500...there is a lot that goes into making good numbers.
