Ok guys, to this date, the only wires we have had issues with is a small batch of 90 degree boot wires that were sent out. These 90 degree boot wires were a little short in length and therefore, we have switched back to the original straight boot wires.
The ones we have been selling, and list on our website, are straight boot wires which are fitting fine and we have NO reported problems with.
If anyone has any problems with these wires, which you WONT, MP can mail you a prepaid call tag label which will ship the wires back to MP at no cost to you and we'll get you a replacement, or refund.
Well I got the straight boot wires and they did not fit on my NGK's. The kid told me that they just found out the other day about them not fitting!? (This was last week I might add)
They are shipping a prepaid label for me so I can get the MSD's. Still waiting on that...
Did anyone read Magnecors defense on their wires? Interesting.
Where did you buy the Grantteleltletlele(sp) wires at? MPX?
Wire resistance has nothing to do with performance.
Who thought it did? That's ridiculous.
Stock wires are more then fine, and better then most aftermarket crap. If or when you add a MSD unit, then a carbon core wire can take a beating, and "burn out" every year or so....
Anyone that thinks resistance means anything in a plug wire should buy a tornado, a magnet and one of those ricer ground isolator kits lol
I did my Granatelli wires last night. Clicked onto the coil quite nicely, but could not get them to "click" onto the spark plugs at all. I took a chance and the car seems to be running fine.
Just to bring this thread back to life.. I purchased from modern what should have been the Granatelli wires. I ended up selling mine on here to a member who pointed out my Granatelli wires were fake. He noticed they did not have Granatelli printed on the wires. How many of you have these wires with the straight boot design without granatelli printed on them? I am just curious as the member I sold them to, as well as myself are bothered that modern may have potentionally sold me "knock-offs".

Whoa guys.
Jumping to conclusions before doing research is a bad idea.
Especially when your potentially spreading false rumours about a hard working company that has little to nothing to gain by selling a knockoff product. (Modern performance)
Have a doubt about the product you buy from MP?
Regardless of what product it is, call the manufacturer and ask them directly about the product.
If you call Granatelli about the wires you received, they would tell you the following:
1) Modern Performance is their NUMBER ONE distributor of the Granatelli SRT4 hands down.
We have no benefit in selling any knockoff product from Granatelli, because we value them greatly as a manufacturer, and partner.
I can guarantee that this has happened because of a manufacturing fluke. As long as the box it came in was a Granatelli wire box and it was sealed you'll have no issues.
If you'd like a replacement, or refund, no problem just send them back to us with a note explaining the situation.
like i said, mine had Granatelli in cursive on the sides..the only reason i sold mine is because i no longer have the car. they were awesome wires.
