I drive it open downpipe 24/7 unless I see law enforcement (electronic cutout here)

I've driven from Cleveland to Wash DC (over 300mi) with the cutout open the whole way so quit yer bitchin about it being too loud

bitchin? sounds like some fightin' words.

fk the bullshyt, 300miles with an open downpipe. it gets annoying after a while.
but that' me.
i wish i had electric so i wont have to jack up the car each time.

i just got the car a week ago. first thing i did was jack up the car and open it.
sounds cool, hearing the turbo spoolin' and all. then i closed it an hr later. i opened it up again on sunday, couz i went to a meet. and it's been opened since then. i heard ppl on the street saying you lose "low end power" by having it opened. i havent ran the car with it closed to feel the difference. but from what it looks like, it seems like the obvious is to have it opened when it comes to racing

I was just messin with ya..... You definitely need to open that baby up at the track, on the street it's not for the faint of heart. I say open her up! I run a race dump it's like your downpipe only without the option of closing it.

Agreed, open!!! And the E-cutout is great. Nice and easy to close when my daughter is in the car.

He might. It looks pretty low in his avatar. I jacked mine up before the e-cutout and I am just on H-Techs.

I love the people that say you lose low end...running a 4 banger NA is going to feel weak on lowend regardless

Plus with it open the turbo can breathe better and spool faster which would help at lower RPMs more than likely

Any changes in perceived drop in lowend is going to be psychological
