im going to be getting a www.needswings.com 3" down pipe w/ manual exhuast cutout, i want to know if i can run that down pipe with my stock exhuast and how will it affect it performance wise????????????
You can run that with your stock exhaust in fact I think that is what most people do. And power wise you wont get that much from it with it closed but that is the point of having a cut out. With it open you will see some good gains and when you want to be quiet you can be. But eventually you might want to get the rear section but is not really needed.
dunno if I posted on here but o well.... Stock catback with intake Mopar BOV stage 1 & needswings DP No cat.....
save target as: http://www.badcarma.net/needswingsdp.wmv
Which would be louder and have more pops and snaps in decel:
MaxxFab Side Exit with cat but NO resonator or there modified borla exhaust with cat. Which would have better perfomance too, Im running pretty much stock. Only have Intake and Mopar BOV.

side exit probably....personally i hear the maxxfab modified borla with NO cat is where its at..probably pretty loud though...if you are looking to be kind of mid range in noise...go for the mopar borla with the mopar cat delete...the mopar cat delete has a resonator in it...sounds ok

I wish i cud get it without the cat, but the thing is that im bout to get my SMOG Lisence and I can't be riding around with out a CAT! So i have to have it. So I may go with the Side Exit with cat, NO resonator, since its cheaper.
