Okay somebody help me decide here. I'm not sure if I want to go catless dp or highflow cat dp. The advantages of the catless are less money and better flow. The advantages of the cat are its legal and its quieter. How much better will a catless flow than a high flow cat? Will it really make much of a difference? This is the determining factor for me. Because I'm really leaning towards a cat.

You wont notice a difference between a high flow cat and no cat unless you are planning on going big turbo and past 400 hp assuming you are going 3inch exhaust. You might want to check about the laws. If you dont have emissions checks then you are fine. Nebraska has nothing against not having a cat that i am aware of so i decided there was no reason to have one.

Hi everyone new to the forum. Just wanted to know if any of you had any experience with the single jdm angled exhaust from Maxxfab. If anyone could post up some clips I would greatly appreciate it thanks.

Great thread, however old it might be.

Question is this: I currently have a Maxxfab 3" 02 housing, downpipe, and magnaflow single tip with a rolled bumper. I hate how this looks. I am looking at a Maxxab Side Exit exhaust and I have several ideas. I was thinking about attaching it to the side skirts and surounding it with a little metal ala the viper. Anyone have any experience with that? Also, I am going to go without cat, but should i have a resonator? I don't want to risk any tickets, but sound is also important to me. Love the pops and gurgles, and also the "turbo whistle" everyone talks about. So with all this criteria in mind, would the guru's of the SRT-4 world recommend a Maxxfab SEE with or without resonator?

Thanks for all your help!

I would def get a resonator if you dont want to risk any tickets. The side exit exhausts tend to be the loudest you can buy from what I heard. My buddy has a side exit with a resonator and it is plenty loud imo. I also have a couple friends that drag race with side exits with no cat no resonators and I took a ride in one and it was rattling change in the center cup holder and was LOUD AS HELL!! For a street car I wouldnt want that.

Wheels are Nexo PX-5 17x7's in hyper silver. Got them from wheelmax. I've gotten a lot of good comments on them, thanks!
