you could. in my honest opinion, its piping. its cheap and the worst thing is a hanger might break. Less than $20 later at a muffler shop and its welded back on lol. same thing if it just so happened to crack at a flange or something. havent heard anything about either happening though either.

Its such a simple thing but its so hard to decide. The cutout is great because it can be closed and opened when you want but im hearing if i dont tune it, it wont be as good as a turboback. Than theres there turboback thats great cause it doesnt require tuning to be useful, but its always gonna be loud

Default Mpx?

I have read thru the whole thread and checked out many of the clips, but only found one or two MPX videos, anyone with a turbo-back 3" mpx with and/or without cat that could post something? Thanks!

You have to tune cutouts? I didn't know that, how do you do that anyway?

well everyone says you the tune the car if your putting on a cutout downpipe cause of running rich/lean and the car pulling timing because of the boost being raised from the downpipe

Default Review: MPx 3" t.b. exhaust no cat w/ single exit

So I just bought and installed a MPx 3" turbo back exhaust w/o cat w/ single exit.

I originally had the Mopar/Borla 2.5" and switched it up to the MPx 3" to (hopefully) gain some performance. Well, I'm not too sure if I gained any performace. The butt dyno isn't registering anyresults anyhow.

This exhaust is not nearly as aggressive sounding as the Borla exhaust. The Borla was definitely louder and had a better burble sound to it. I'm actually pretty dissapointed in the sound as I think the factory exhaust may have actually sounded better. I guess the quite factor will be nice for long highway commutes.

The fit and finish on the exhaust is really good and it looks pretty slick with my rolled rear bumper.

So if you're looking for a quite exhaust, this might be the one for you.

I hope I at least gained a few hp with this swap to make up for the lack of sound quality.

just my $0.02

Thankyou all for the input about MPX! Also thankyou very much for the video, BoostingSnail! I have been comparing several exhausts and that pretty much made my decision to go MPX!

I know this may sound stoopid but.. In order to get that whining sound from the turbo (at idle) do you need a turbo back exhaust?
