Default Dumb Tubes = stupidity

I dont understand why they deisgned dumb tubes this way. The dumb tube comes down and sits less than an inch away from all the fuel lines, also sits directly on a fuel line. What suggestions do you have to get around this? i dont want to be going down the highway hit boost and it melt my plastic fuel lines..also i know 2 cars that caught on fire and both had dump tubes.. Plastic with fuel inside plus extremely hot exhaust gas being blown directly on it doesnt seem to safe

First of all, its DUMP tube, not dumb tube.

The pipe should sit inbetween the K frame and the under body. As long as its facing AWAY from your fuel lines you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

If yours is not sitting right then you need to have it bent correctly.

Go make your own dump tube like me. I used flex exhaust pipe. Cost me all of $8.

they do not sit on any fuel lines or anything..it sits about 1-2" above the frame and vents under the car.all the fuel lines run to the left of the car if looking from the top of the engine bay

Who is they? AGP?

If so its meant to sit right. For some reason yours doesn't which is why you need to get it bent or like you said, you can cut the pipe further up. That is what I did. This way it doesn't bang on the K frame.
