I have an 05' with stage 1, aftermarket wga and an external bov, I know I have to keep the white TIP sensor, but can I get rid of the red one even though I have an 05'?

And let me get this straight, you cap the nipple on the bottom of the turbo (not the one connect to an MBC), and you also cap the part of the check valve where the blue line connects to right?

you can remove the red line. i show you in the diagrams that it is no longer there...

and yes, cap the bottom nipple of the turbo

and no, youre not capping the check valve where the blue line goes, youre capping the top part of the T that goes to the intake.

So the red line going into cold side pipe can be removed and capped at both ends? What's it for anyway?

I was going to run my WI boost source right off the cold side pipe there and remove red line altogether... is that safe?

ok, my question is what do you do with the solenoid's? I know you gotta keep them in or throw codes (or rig up resistors)

Do you cap all 9 of the nipples on the solenoids? Do you leave them @ atmospheric? Does it matter?

u need to keep the soleniod box because of the electrical stuff connected to it.....but you can leave all 9 soleniod nipples open w/o any problems

Default picture...

Im doing the vac line mod now, I have a kinetic wga. and mopar bov/ricer plate. anyway in the picture you show a line going from the wga to the back of the turbo, I can't find a nipple on the back of the turbo, just the one on the side, but you show it going to the solenoid. anywhere else the wga line can go... I'll go look again, but I can't find it...thanks.

STICKY!

This is a great info. Esepcially when I am running an aftermarket wastegate w/mopar bov but I'm switching over to a aftermarket bov. I already picked up the HKS SSQV so I need to buy the UPP and then I can follow the aftermarket bov/wastegate diaghram. Thanks for the info I was wondering how to run the lines.
