I bet it's a blast on the street. I was toying around the idea of swapping to a big wheel s3 with my new motor

Like who? ![]() It should hit 20psi before 3K. But if the dyno operator isn't going WOT until 3K we won't know how fast the boost comes on. triangles, post up the graph(s)! Is this in a base tune or full tune? What air intake?

Yup. I bet the power band on this thing is freaking sick!!! What's probably holding things up is the stock long block. Our heads suck arse!!.

I do think there is something wrong with my car. But haven't nailed it down. My numbers on a stock s3 on pump were low but I belive that to be the fins that were chipped. I'm leaning towards compression or possible head problems
320 on pump is not low. That's actually a touch above average for a stock S3 turbofold.

modesto ca anytime you want come on over and come for a ride Nice! It woulda been nice for you too swap out to a larger turbine like i said when you posted about your turbine wheel being chipped. Then, retune on the 4bars and youd have more leg room too let the turbo shine some more. I too run a 20g wheel along with a td06sl2r turbine like those found in the ef2/hta fpgreens and damn did changing from the stock td05hr clipped turbine too this larger turbine really make a difference. The 20g wheel i run is like that of what toofast82 is talking about with a smaller hub area, meaning more blade area between the circumfrence on the compressor wheel, and having extended tips. Its a kinugawa/kamak compressor wheel along with their "green" turbine wheel. I made 534/510@36-37psi. I have had my 40psi boost gauge pegged before but was lean but im sure the power was maybe 550. Great turbos. I substituted the mopar s3 for an evo9 turbo. But, nonetheless, despit my turbo having a larger comp cover, you should be able too make bigger numbers. Keep on the lookout for my build. Got something coming together in a couple months with a bigger turbo. Gotta love the different variances between the mopar s3/evo8&9 turbochargers.

The intake I use is 3inch custom I did out of mandrel bend tubeing I have. The app on my phone won't let me load the picsure it I can txt it to some some they can up load if they want to for me.

It's a cast 20g TD05 dual 6 blade comp wheel. Curtis did say that out of the 3 dyno runs they could only get 1 full pass. Something was nothing right with the car. Car has much more in it tho.

I may have been high...... I was wrong, I was thinking of my graph, but I was not far off. Only ~300 rpm's off. I made 20psi at 3200 RPM's

![]() But Nick! That's not a good thing! That fast spool is most likely a bi-product of back pressure from a crappy manifold design. Hitting boost that quick IS costing you! No free lunch my friend.

I'm going back Friday or Saturday. For another run hopefully with a 60mm throttle body and 4 bar sensor The TB will not help much if any. The stock head is still a major restriction.
