With the .82 when does it start to spool and when do you hit full spool? And are all supporting mods listed in your sig, because i am still debating this kit but i really wanna go all out so please let us know!
I don't have a big turbo, I will here soon....I'm not sure If I want The WG rerouted or dumped, I've heard The dump In person, But never heard The rerouted, How's The rerouted sound?
As you will see I have the rerouted dump in my kit. I have never heard one on our cars that was not rerouted, but I like the way mine sounds. I can try to get a video made of what my car sounds like getting on it. I just recently installed my kit so tuning hasnt been done yet so I am only running 15-16 psi. Full boost is around 3500rpm...not sure where because I have to make sure to hold on to the steering wheel when the boost kicks in. Day to day driving is muuuuch better than it was compaired to the stock turbo. I have very little flutter, but I havent done any tuning yet. I am almost done with my first full take on the car and even though I have got on it here and there I will be getting 310 miles to the tank. With the stocker not getting on it at all I was getting about 280 to the tank. So gas mileage has improved...at least until I turn the boost up Overall as long as you have a good tune like everyone says you will be safe. Make sure to have a wideband to check your air/fuel ratios and yoru set. Its alllll in the tune.
For all of you worried about reliability......AGP 50trim 750s and returnline... My car is a daily driver for one and i am the store manager of a local pizza place...well lets just say somone quit the night before my turbo install and an hour after i was through with the install the next day I was delivering pizzas.. lol One hell of a way to get use to the big turbo..BTW I recommend staying out of boost with pizzas in the car.the toppings tend to find their way to the back of the box lol..20lbs hits hard .....real hard. And as a final thought there could not be a better kit for these cars...parts...customer support...fitment...Flawless. Special thanks to Ben...John....and Stephen for my many annoying phone calls.and for a great kit.

^^^^^^^^^AND THAT ladies and gentlemen IS THE DAMN TRUTH!!! " You can have all the mods in the world, but the final tune is what'll make or break (literally) your car!
According to my calculations, for about 500 whp I'd need 950cc injectors flowing at about 57.5psi for fuel with a gt35r. What is the fuel psi set on the 750cc's that you big turbo guys are running and what is the duty cycle of your injectors?

I ran a GT40 @ 26psi for about three months. I liked the hell out of it. Power band was more 'Supra*ish' than what it should have been.<---Meaning the car pulled like a mutha Fuxzor on the highway. Hard. Traction issues at 65+mph. 160+mph was something that could be done with ease(its was kinda cool to berry the needle) I was running the HP racing manifold and a 3in custom downpipe, with 750cc injectors and a walbro, controled with a SAFC II. I was running plenty rich. 11.1's across the rpm band. I would start to spool around 2500rpms and hit full boost right around 3700rpms, and when that happened it felt like all of hell was breaking lose. . I ended up hurting the motor tho after about 3 months. I cracked three of the four piston rings lands. So I'm now finishing up my second rebuild of the motor.(first one had some issues). My motor is 'fully built' now. Lots o DCR sh!t. PnP Head, cams and the whole nine. All in all tho I loved the way the car felt then, but I recently just bought a stock turbo replacement from a member here on the forums. I'm done with all those high hp numbers on a FWD car. Don't get me wrong neons, and all fwd cars for that matter have always been my thing, but I no longer wish to have a car that is fwd with that much powa. Just not usable and fun. If I coult start over again I would def. go with stage3R just for its simplicity. That and that only. 'Big turbo kits' are the way to go in my opinion if you want 'tunability' of your car versus bolt on and go. All in all....its really up to 'you' and what 'you' want.
P.S. New project has already been started......Inline six and RWD BABY!!!
why did the motor blow need details, was it because u didnt remove b/s ass. or detonation, what was it? need to knowgoing on big boy boost in a week.

How did you come up with that?? I made 493whp with a single walbro on a 35r @ 29psi with 750's. My FP was about 45 with the line off. After adding a second walbro I was able to run 37psi on 750's.
^^^^ Go big turbo route, you will smoke stage 3 IF you can tune.
There is more than enough information to make an educated decision. If you don't mind working with a management system (eManage, SAFC, PP, Split Second, or a standalone such as Hydra, Big Suff 3, AEM (good grief I know!! It will come out) or similar) and have a wideband and maybe an egt gauge then make it a big turbo day.

tuning isnt much of a head ache its the engine wear that i am worried about. It sounds orgasmic a big turbo kit! But 400 hp on the stock engine as opposed to 320 hp. I plan to drive this car into the ground and i hope it lasts a long time! Plus i imagine enjoying 320 hp more in FWD car as opposed to 400.

With a big turbo you can always just run lower boost for daily driving and then just turn it up at the track. I was on the fence about the stg3 vs. big turbo. I was a little turned off by the wait on the stg3, but I'm sure it's really nice. I finally just decided on the big turbo. I like tinkering with stuff..can't wait for it to show up!
