Reliability of big turbo: 0
Reliability of S3R:8

speak for yourself as well. It might drive fine now but who has more blown motors... big turbo owners or S3R owners... Who also has hit the 11's more... I think S3R has that title as well...

The upkeep and maintence on big turbo's is nuts too...

Big turbo's are friggin sweet regardless, even if you do have some problems with it you knew right from the get go that it was going to be a big possibility because with a big turbo its a whole new ball game.and some srt's have no problems and some have tons thats just how it always has been with these cars

...if you have more problem 'without boosting,' then I'm assuming you're not referring to busted internals(?).

I've read most of the posts for the GT3076R turbo. That turbo seems to really shine once you get into some high boost [25+ psi]. I was seriously considering one, but I want to keep the motor semi-safe and keep the boost limited to 20-21 psi. I think the 50 trim BB is a good fit for me. It has a good HP range, nice spool time and there are a lot of these on the road...

I have a question I'm hoping someone can explain it to me. Long story as short as I can... I have the AeroForce gauge so I can record two sets of parameters at a time. To tune I used RPM and A/F ratio. I just glance at my tru-boost gauge to see where the boost came on at while I was doing the whole road tune thing. anyway, once I got it tuned to about 11.8-12.2 at what I thought was 22lbs of boost with 94 octane pump and meth injection. I then turned to the timing knock retard and intake temp to make sure they were in check. well, when I first floor it I am pulling 15 degrees of timing and that quickly drops to 8-9 till redline. So I looked at the EBC and boost starts at 22 by about 3000 and steadly go up to 26-27 at redline I understand the timing being pulled because of WAY to much boost but why the boost creep? could my boost soleniod be bad? I've already did the boost leak check to about 20psi and it is good, not leak free, but close. Should I get it perfect? Any advice is welcome and appreciated

Check your lines. Make sure none of them are crimped or anything like that. Also, it ery well could be a bad boost controller. Which controller are you using? That would help me a out a lot...
