I was wrong about the price... it's actually like $85... This mod removes the 1/8th bottleneck feed that comes off the pump. It's a very easy mod that makes a huge power difference.
well being on a budget with $500.00 what should i start with?
Get a cheap front mount.... there are two out there right now, Quickwhips and I think UMC? That leaves you $180. Get a SAFC and learn to tune with it....
Next you should save up $380 for return line and $85 for bottleneck fix... then injectors... then turbo kit and Intake.

well i do have a fmic set on my mind, alittle up there in price but think it's worth it. agp race fmic. in your opinion why the safc over the d teck.
You don't need an AGP Race. The cheaper ones will do... I made the most WHP of any GT3071 on a cheaper FMIC and pump. I bet you the QW flows better than the AGP.
The qw sucks ass. I pulled it off this weekend and installed the ed beast intercooler and i imediately felt a world of difference. Hell, my car felt better with the cca than it did with the qw.

Are you going back to the dyno?
It will be interesting to see if how much hp you gained with the weather warmer now.

Yes i def will. With the qw on the car I would barely spin third on 20psi from a 60mph punch. The same day after removal of the qw and installing the ed beast with no tuning whatsoever, i literally spun the shit out of third until redline and fourth gear felt much better. The core on the qw is just plain shit. I know alof of guys love there qw, but the fact of the matter is, its the only damn intercooler alot of these guys have had on there car. Im not saying all, but the majority. Ive been through 3 thus far and the ed is by far better than either the cca or qw. Ed>cca>qw

i'm currently running the QW now.......But like you said its the only one I've had.....I'm interested in a agp...
well i can't knock qw fmic. just seen that dansrt4 has set a new record for fastest stock turbo no no2. 11.8 i think it was. and he's running a qw fmic. i guess that changes my mind a little

I bet you have the older one... the newer one flows way better, way better design.
so how about starting with agp wga and a map clamp, then qw fmic, then return line and bottle neck fix, then injectors and fuel pump, then big turbo, then well suspenion or rims?
