Default Big Turbo Owners Feedback

I would like to have one thread where big turbo owners can post their impressions, complements, and complaints. So let's hear them.

I have a 50trim and I love the way it spools-------steady and strong----plus I can ride around all day and not get into more than 3-4 psi of boost. I just need a clutch now to handle the power that the car is making------big turbo's=smiles all day long!

^^Depending on tuning you can get many or no issues.

I have no problems with stumble or ptb. Plenty of people speak of lag on a bigger turbo, depends on many things. Dual BB turbos are quicker to spool, mine hits around 3800 rpm and holds through till 6200 at 22 lbs.

Hookup is more of an issue than lag.

Finally a thread where people can talk and compare big turbos. Keep those S3R babies out of here!!

Maybe I'll start posting again.

Thanks for the thread Brady. Whitby England?

you big turbo guys, do you have to tune all the time? I read about people having to tune all the time with a aftermarket turbo... I dont see why this would be the case... Cant you just tune it once, and leave it at that?

hey black_srt i'm strongly considering the gt35r. quick questions. Is yours DBB if not what do you think full boost will be around with that? Also did you have to have a 4 inch intake? I just wanna know if i'm gonna have to sell my agp 3 inch soon.

I have the DBB 50 trim just installed in my car with all the supporting mods. It has the full ceramic coating and polished. Spool up on it is at 2900-3100 rpm. I hit 448hp on C-16 at 28 psi and 365 on pump 93 at 21 psi. This kit is awesome, not one complaint about the 50 trims, or any turbo kits from AGP for that matter.

From my understanding, once you se tit it is good, unless you keep changing stuff on your car, or some part goes bad. Other than those situations you shouldnt have to mess with it untill you want more or less power. Just my understanding.

Default go big turbo!

i have had my big turbo for a while now.....

easier cruising around....due to less boost at lower rpms & slower spool !

average SAME fuel mileage ! my particular setup required some cutting
because of its size & tubular manifold.......but all in all = well worth it!!!

i also need a good clutch now!...going w/ the one from rage tek- twin disc, VERY expensive, but already workin on sleeved block for a lot more boost & dont wanna replace clutch again in spring when new motor is done!!!
