aem/mopar and the same thing. i have the k&N cai and the brackets broke and sits really low to the ground so i cut the pipe to move the filter up higher
I like my iceman intake i had installed. Its not half as loud as the other intakes and it won't heat soak as easily. Denting under the hood definently sucked though.
Iceman=teh suck. They probably spent about 10 minutes R&D on that one.
Mopar=same as AEM.
K&N=2.5" i believe. it's nice, but not worth the cash.
If you're still stockish(no turbo upgrades) Get a K&N drop-in for the stock airbox. It'll flow just as good if not better than anything in the aftermarket.
That is unless you just have to have something shiny under the hood. Gotta impress your friends i guess...

"And the dynos rumbled, and God spake 'Take thine stage 3R upgrade, install it upon thine car, and pwn the many ricers!' And thus MOPAR, son-of-Dodge, begat of the Chrysler and the Daimler began his reign in the front-wheel-drive world. And God looked down upon it and saw it was all that and a bag of chips."
if your planning on a turbo upgrade... go with a big intake... maybe psi-fi.. you can get it in 3'', 3.5'', and 4'' diameters..... also silicon for no heat soak and sucks cold air!
The Injen I have the filter sits by the fender and the piping gets hot as sh#t, trying to find a real cai that enters the fender for cheap
The inlet temp of the turbo won't have any effect on the charge temp (sorry but it's true)
If you want to lower your charge temp get a better I/C or W/I. The I/C will get you to ambient temps & W/I or N2O will both get you lower than ambient. Also, the stock aribox can support over 300hp of air so, you're not going to see anything tangeble by changing it unless you are already past that mark & even then you're not going to see much of a performance increase.

^^^^: he is 100% true, the only time youll need a cai is when you upgrade to a turbo that needs a bigger intake. youll notice very very little if any gains from it, the only thing youll achieve by buying a cai besides wasting your money, is hearing the turbo spool a little better... spend the money on a dsp
I had 3 intakes in my car, AEM, K&N and the stocker, couldn't tell the difference between the 3. All felt the same. I'd save the $200 bucks and buy a wastegate.
