Default Bar Map Sensor

Hey guys I was wondering if I am pushing above stock boost should I upgrade my bar map sensor. My mods are in my sig. Recent mods that I put on would be the diablopredator 93OCT PERF tune. Waiting on my custom tunes.

only if your tuner writes the map to work with an upgraded map sensor. otherwise it'll mess everything up.

if you're tuner is writing a map for more than 18.5 psi you should go to a 3 bar setup.

You'll need a 3 bar map and tip sensor and to have the Diablo CMR map settings adjusted so the CPU can read any boost above 18psi.

Default hmmm

I have already submitted my stock tune to get my 2 custom tunes. Now I told them I am running 20PSI and falling to 17PSI so with the custom tunes would I be good to go ahead and put the 3 bar maps sensor and tip sensor on or do I need to let them know that I plan on putting them on so that they can tune it with the device.

you still have stock turbo? run no higher than 18.5 psi. the stock turbo tapps out at 19. anything higher and the efficiency of the turbo goes south. too much heat for the system
