Ok, I pretty much got down to the last step of removing the balance chain. I cut the chain and I could not yank it out. It would not budge. What the deal? Has anybody had this problem???
If it is so had why take it out. Seems like a lot of people are taking them out, but at the same time there are a lot of guys that leave them in some of them with high hp. So what is better? All the things do is keep the motor harmonics down right?

Try using a windage tray and crank scraper with the balance shafts in place. Plus, who wants plastic chunks in their oil pickup. I know I don't.
