Default Another Vacuum line thread.

Okay before all the douche nozzles chime in, i have searched and have inconclusive results.

Two part question:
1. The green vacuum line going to my turbo, i keep "ripping" open the rubber vacuum connector, Any way to not replace it every 5-6 months?

2. A friend of mine would like to get rid of the cluttered vacuum lines running around under the hood. Now i have looked at EVERY diagram available, But the thing is he is running ALL STOCK with no boost controller or wastegate. IS IT possible for him to still rid those lines or no??

Any or ALL input greatly appreciated

Thanks guys!!!
Justin

Yes he can get rid of some vac lines and remain ECU controlled.

You can get similar size vac line at any auto store.

If I wasn't so tired I would give you links and shit.

Getting rid of any of the vacuum lines will cause the car to not run correctly.

Cluttered vacuum lines? How so? I don't think the stock configuration looks cluttered whatsoever...

That would be so nice if that diagram was color coded and you could actually see where the vac lines are going in that heap of mess by the turbo.
