Default Agp Wga

I'm thinking about ordering a AGP WGA. I have a Mopar BOV. Can I leave that there if I get a new WGA?

You can but if you plan on turning up the boost the stock bov really sucks it leaks. So I would get the wga start saving for hks bov and hard piping youll be much happier.

Stock? It didn't come stock. It was installed. But I see where you are coming from. Just shit gets expensive real fast in the world these days.

Dont waste your money on hardpipes and a bov. The mopar bov is just fine for whatever boost you want to run. If you have any questions about leakage on the bov, just put some sealer on it. There's a bunch of threads about how well the mopar holds up under boost. Most of the bad info is just recycled from the same people...

No, ignore him, hes wrong. Get your WGA install it and youll be fine. The Riceplate only leaks when its installed incorrectly.

NO you dont need to save for hardpipes, they will do nothing for you

Sweet. I love the way it sounds. Also how hard is it to install the WGA?

The wga itself is easy to install. It's the upper heat shield that can be a pain.

By top heatshield you mean the stock one that covers the turbo? Is there a How-To on how to do it.

u dont need a how to for unscrewing some 10mm bolts. all u need is a good socket set, a ratcheting 10mm wrench(for the top bolt) and pb blaster(for every bolt)

12mm socket will unbolt the wga. the more extensions to choose from the easier it is. the hardest part really is taking out the bolts. its easy. make sure u know how to adjust the wga(search on how to do it) and start low at like 14psi in 4th and adjust it accordingly till u get ur desired boost(no more than 17-18 hold) in 4th. then ur good to go.

it will. there are absolutely no fitment issues. the wga is at the top of the turbo while the mopar rice plate is at the bottom

I am unsure why people state the Mopar BOV plate is bad. I used hi-temp silicone, made sure it didnt get into the diaphram and tightened it down snug. I also had this on with an AGP Billet WGA at 17-18lbs hold 15 to redline, and it was perfectly fine.

You will have to remove or "convince" the upper heat shield to mount the arm onto the flapper. PB blaster is your friend for the heat shield bolts.
