I have the mopar stage 2 wastegate on my car and I was wondering if the agp wastegate just that much better? Also is it possible to hold 19 or 20lbs of boost to redline with the agp wastegate?
It depends on what you mean by better. The s2 will have no ptb issues. The AGP will. The AGP will be capable of holding 19-20 off of PCM control. (the way they intended it to be used) The s2 will not. In fact, off PCM control, the s2 will only make 8-9psi.
Also the AGP is much easier to adjust than the s2.
What's PTB, and i know what it stands for,(Part Throttle boost)? but what does it means, how does it feel or sound or taste like?
PTB or part throttle over boost is like when the turbo tries to make full boost with the throttle plate only partially open. AKA compressor surge. BAD. It kinda sounds like sug sug sug. It should taste like puke because you're destroying your turbo by making it try to spin backward.

Holding 19-20psi to redline is impossible with a stock turbo. 14-16psi is about you'll ever see above 6k rpm regardless of the WGA used.
Now a 19-21psi spike works well with the stock turbo. For that, a well controlled Stock WGA is all you really need. A DSP controls the stock wga very well.
So save $$ on a wga and just buy a DSP

So are you saying that with a dsp I can hold higher boost?
Get yourself a Forward Motion, best there is, period!!!
Pretty much no part throttle OVER boost with FM.. and yes I have tried them all.
My second choice would be the AGP, but it has noticeable more PTOB.
So are you saying that with a dsp I can hold higher boost?
Yes with a stock wga I'm usually about 14.5-15psi at 6000rpm.
Its very rare that I've seen a $150+ aftermarket wga(AGP, FM, Kinetic, PTP,,blah, blah, blah) hold more than 15.5psi past 6000rpm.

So what you are saying keep the stage 2 and be happy with 16psi or go big turbo
