Dodge put them there to absorb some of the motor vibrations. but if your making lots of power then you put extra stress on the chain and also the plastic gears that the chain runs on. last thing you want is for something as stupid as a broken unnessiary plastic gear to destroy your whole motor right?

They say that the chains breaks...I went 150k with mine still in...big turbo since forever. I'm not alone...some of the fastest stock bottom end guys share the same story. I had to part with it due to a built motor but it never broke or showed any signs of breaking

AGP says 500 is POSSIBLE in the high ar., well to me that says if you MAx this turbo you can get 500 HP. I would never want to max a turbo out, that means that i should have gone bigger, having said that if you would be happy with low to mid 400s then go for it.

I have the zeta 2.8 it is pretty much a better 50trim. I am pulling a little over 320hp on the dyno. This is a loaded dyno and not a free spinning dyno, on a free spin I am pulling 410hp. I have the full AGP stage 4 kit plus return fuel kit. For some reason the way AGP wanted the regulator didn't work out properly in my car causing me to get a fuel rail to work properly. Dynos are just tuning tools anyway. You can ask a body builder how much he benches, but it doesn't matter if he can still kick your ass.

here is a link to the kit and everything that comes with it.
SRT-4 AGP Stage 4 Package - AGP Turbochargers, Inc. Store Take that same $4,500 and piece together a kit with the same stuff listed on that page. You will find that you will have an extra $1000+ leftover! I don't like buying these "kits" simple because what if I wanted a PTE6262 ball bearing turbo instead of the Delta 38 ... its not offered :\ or what if you dont need the injectors or the Walbro because you already have it. Just piece together your own kit with the parts that you want and save the $$ for when you blow your car up. |
