Default 50T or gt3076

I am looking for a turbo upgrade and need some opinion i was debating between a stander 50T or a gt3076. I look for around 400-450whp on pump gas. I have a stock block and head with all bolth on and fuel system upgrade with no port job.I be getting the sct for the tune. I want to know what people have dyno with a gt3076 on stock block and head?

well i cant give you aton of info...but i have a 50t with all supporting mods, and love it.

i will be adding meth here shortly and raising boost up to 25#'s i tried 24#s and fried my stock clutch, now i have a act lightend fly and hvy dty clutch set up, and holds great at 22lbs.

i know from reading, 400-450 hp from the 50t isnt hard to get.

im not 100% but i would assume that the other turbo will make around the same.

i would say tho that if you havent upraded your clutch, that will be a must for anything over 20#s, also the fuel return line , walbro 255, 650-750 inj i would say are also a must .

if i were you i would pick up the gt3076. To me it seems like the better turbo i just made my decision to get the agp stage 4 kit with the gt30 and i did alot of research on the two and gt30 seems better just my .02

The 50-trim is going to make slightly more power than the GT3076R on lower boost, but the GT3076R will make slightly more than the 50-trim at high boost.

400hp is possible, but not without an aggressive tune. If you are on a stock block you may be able to break 400hp, but I rarely see mid-400 pump gas cars unless they have completely built motors and a pretty agressive tune.

GT3076 is more durable I believe but if you are gonna stay on pump gas go with the 50 trim.

You should also consider that garrett turbos are backed by the BB trade in program for what I heard is 500$. Most other turbo re builders wont touch a dbb50t. Agp quoted me 650$ should I ever need a rebuild on my 50t.

"BB Service

Ball Bearing Service Program

Garrett takes great pride in the quality of its turbochargers and tests them extensively. However, sometimes the unthinkable happens and a turbo fails. Garrett now provides the option to exchange a failed or used CHRA for credit on a new CHRA at an affordable price!

The program requires you take the following steps:

1. Make sure your unit is covered by the program by checking the Ball Bearing service link below.
2. Send your used CHRA* to one of Garrett's Performance Distributors for inspection.
3. Purchase a new CHRA at a discounted price!

"*At a minimum, the center housing must be re-usable to qualify for this program. The Garrett Performance Distributor will determine the condition upon receiving the CHRA and has final say in the applicability of a CHRA for this program.""

I would say on pump gas with meth yes and on strait pump gas most likely with a good tune and driver.

Default bws256??

yes I will agree in 2 aspects, sounds sick and makes a bit better power curve all the way through to redline then the 50 trim ... but thats it .. if you go 50t Dbb option or with a gt3076r .. the overall results ... well I don't think you will be as happy with the bw s256 ... but my god that bws256 sounds sickkkk..
