Yeah I clamp at 4.3 which is 15PSI. Its perfect for WI ..IMO anyway. No fuel mods except the water and it pulls like crazy. I like to keep things as stock looking as possible as well. I just added the hard pipes and thats the biggest non stock looking item now so I guess I'm out of that now. I can't tell if the hard pipes helped but I used the hole on the JMB UPP that you hook the TIP sensor to for the WI nozzle so that was cool. Cya later..

Funny I just got the JMB performance hard pipes and didnt notice too much but great customer service. Also how are those 245's treating you? Do they fit well any rubbing and do you have all 4? Cause I was thinking the same tire size. Some dude locally has 245's on the front and 205's in the back. Water injection is one of the best mods i did. I made my own kit cost about 100 but powerband and top end is just sick.

hey how many springs do you have in stock?

If you find anything else on this let me know, I searched all over for info on this mod and never found much. I knew it had been done but never found details. Post links if you find anything.

More then enough. I got enough made up to do my own WGA's for when the SRT-4 caliber comes out.

OT: I heard the rumor that the Caliber transmission can olny handle about 300 tq. That would mean that any mods to the Caliber and the tranny would break. Any confirmation on this?

Its the clutch not the tranny that is limited. The manufacture would never rate the tranny at such a low rating due to the fact it will be a "tuner" car and the warranty issues of people taking them back to stock after the tranny came apart would be crazy.

Just some food for thought, the upgraded spring might work on a stg 2 WGA. For all those wanting some adjustability while still looking stock. The spring might be a much needed upgrade.

I dont have a spare stg 3 laying around to tear apart. The spring in side the stage 3 is just as week as the stg 2 spring so I would suspect that it would work better then the stg 3 spring.

I am ordering my spring tomorrow and I will let you know my inputs when I get and install it. But judging from your results it just motivates me to do it as well.

Is the PT spring a 15ib spring?

Would this work with the stage 2 wastegate and PCM controlled boost?

I dont want to mess with the way the car drives now I have had forge wastegate and the PTB sucked ass. If this mod would give me a few more psi to redline its worth the 20 bucks!

I have a stock wastegate laying around would it be smarter to put the spring in the stock wastegate and then put that on my stage 2?

WGA is on the way, spring will bo problem i can just go pick it up, and seeing how the upper heat shield is MIA on my car it should be an easy swap. Then i will head out with the data loggers and record some stuff.

I want to remove my heat shield, how is it holding up w/o it? I know some cars must have it but mines is all dinged up from my messing with it from the spring mod. Also you have any pic's w/o the shield
