Thats not the N2MB wot box. He has the NDE traction control system.

I wasn't aware the N2MB box did either, I wired mine up and didn't think any of the wires went to the fuel system. It still blows loads of black smoke out too so its definitely still getting fuel. I was under impression that the green wire to the coil wires were to cut ignition, the cam sensor wire to sense RPMs, and the TPS sensor wire to sense WOT, and of course the power/ground/clutch sensor wires are obvious.

To wire the N2MB wot box to just cut spark, the wires you use for the C101 connector need to go to the coil pack instead.

There is a black and red wire on the N2MB that gets wired into the C101 connector. It controls coil power and the fuel injectors.

Is it bad to just cut the spark? What would be the difference in cutting just spark and cutting both?
Cutting just spark u get alot of unburned fuel. Hence the pop bang pop pop bang. The fuel injectors and the coil pack are controlled by the neg.(-). With ignition on there is a pos (+) supply on them as all times. The green/orange wire.

There is damage.
N2MB doesnt recommend it for people running E85. Even if you wire it the normal way you will still get flames.

.. we do recommend the fuel and ignition cut on the srt.
However, we do ignition cut only on all other vehicles, with thousands of wot boxes installed and no problems to report. . |
