So I got a 03 rail and don't have the money to do a return line and it dident come with the shrader valve on it and I'd Like to install it with my s 2 injectors any one kno where I cam get one dealer wants me to get a new rail and no where else seems to have one ?
does your fuel rail have something like this on the end?
If so that is the shrader valve. Get a tool from pepboys or advanced autoparts to take the little valve with the spring in the middle of it out (If it is out already don't worry about it). Then hook your FRL return to it and that is it. My setup runs from the fuel tank, to the fuel rail, out the shrader valve to the FPR back to the fuel tank.

Go to the local parts store and get a shrader valve for an A/C hose. They're usually stocked behind the counter. It will screw right in and hold up to the gasoline. Regular tire valves will degrade over time from the fuel and leak.
The tool use to screw it in is the same used for tire valve stems. If you're carefull you could just use needle nose pliars.

How is he supposed to screw it in if there is nothing to screw it into on the fuel rail????
He said he had an 03 fuel rail. '03 rails had shrader valves. They didn't do away with them until sometime in '04 when they switched to the same rail that the '05 comes standard with. So if his doesn't have a shrader valve on it then it is not an '03 rail.
I mean correct me if I am wrong but that is the info that I have concerning the fuel rail. That is why I switch from my stock 05 rail to a 03 rail that I got off an SRT-4 in a junk yard. cheapest mod I have I have put on the car.

lol no my cars a 05 dosent have the valve or anything so i bought a 03 rail but the guy befor me had a return line aka he took the valve out. Im broke so i needed to find a valve i could put in there so that it i could use the 03 rail with out the return line!
Can you just attach the valve to the rail on the right side??^^^^^^
If you are a competent welder and get the right parts, probably.
Some factory rails have an internal secondary "rail" inside that the damper connects to.It used just to eliminate noise. I haven't had a stock rail apart to tell you for sure, but you might have to remove this secondary tube also.
