My Dear friends:
As much as I would love to make the trip to MATT, It would appear that the construction and operation of the New Silver Bay Seafoods Facility here in Sitka has taken priority. Unfortunatly the seafood industry is the main sorce of income in these parts and Summer is when the Fish run.
I injoyed my summer of last year and would not trade it for anything. However it was quite costly in many ways. So.... I have to reconsider how I manage my affairs until I can afford to do otherwise.
A Spring or Fall Nationals/Matt would be more favorable for my schedule at this time.
I am planning on being in the Bar Harbor, Me area from Sept. 20 - 23 to attend a wedding. If anyone wants to meet up, That would be cool!!!!

Hello All,
As much as I was planning to come, my winter project with the car put me 6 weeks behind schedule. I finally fired the beast up for the first time yesterday after being down all winter. Starting today, I start the breakin period of 700-800 miles before any racing. Hopefully I'll be able to make the NOPI Nationals at New England Dragway first weekend of Aug.
I was really looking forward to coming down to defend my championship at the strip and seeing everyone again, but it just won't happen this year. Hopefully there will be others and I'll be in retirement mode with lots of time available.
Have fun, be safe as I'll miss being there this year.

Sorry to hear and see that many 'old friends' will not make it this year. Hopefully there are more events like this that we can get together and have some fun.
