And you have my sincere apologies if my remarks offended. I shall delete them post haste.

And only babies need the bottle............................................ . I am kidding, it's a joke to break the tension, as is the edited version of my "insult". Please forgive my juvenile sense of humor, it's all I have, (trust me) lol!!!

How far off Woodward are you? I will be staying in Southgate at my X's mom's house (don't ask, lol). What town is your shop in?? Will you even be open during the Dream Cruise, as I would like to put the Stang on the dyno to see what it makes. And if you're familiar with the SCTII, perhaps you could make a tune for me!!!

You two get a room. It's amazing we even had the Shelby group with us cause we can't even get along with our own website members half the time. SRTFourums we know Drama.

BTW, with all the drama in this thread, I want to say that if SDAC is not there next year, and that is likely, it is not because of any of the issues brought up on here. We move our convention around every year, and while we really enjoyed being with you guys this year, Topeka was not the best site for us, and we did not break even on our own event because of poor attendance from our members. In recent years we get between 150-175 at our event, and we only had about a third of that number attend this year.

That's just BS. The 2.0/2.4 engine family has been in production since late 1993, and people have been tinkering with them from day one and people have been turbocharging them for almost as long. The 2nd gen Neon has been around for 7 years now, and neons altogether 13 years. You have 30 different serious vendors fighting over each other to sell you stuff.

The GM Ecotec motor is newer then the 2.0/2.4 by many years.... yet people were making them fly almost immediately.

This sure comes off as a insult to me. You can add all the or whatever else to it but it still reads like a insult to me. I aslo see again that you would hide the truth from people <----Thats like Lieing to some people.

Our Shop is on Alexis Rd not close to Woodward at all but you are welcome to stop by as I'm sure you are a nice guy in person and prolly wouldn't come off as such a h8ter.

Now lets get one more thing straight. Who is my sponser? No one has given me anything for free that I can remember. Dasmotorsports = Vector, Tat2punk, and I. and we all have our own cars with parts we have paid for.

Actually I should edit that, it's .04 per dansrt4. And I said I "could" say that I drove my car, but I never have, and I never would, lol. Hell, I posted a pic of Rick posing next to my car that he drove!!!!! As far as sponsers, if you don't use that car as a tax write off for your business, you need a better financial advisor. I don't have that luxury, my car is 100% paid for by me. And driven by someone else . See, there, I made fun of myself even. Can we kiss and make up now????

I'm cool. I just thought you were coming down on us alittle hard for not knowing what was going on. Our shop is in Toledo Ohio about 70miles south of the dream cruise. We use a dyno about 26 miles north of Toledo off I-75. I can call him and see if he will be open or not. He may not be becasue he likes the dream criuse also. So if you are serious about dynoing i will call him and set something up. My car should be ready to dyno, and Vector and Tata2 both need to dyno also............ Sounds like a dyno day are in the works.

There is an Omni GLH Turbo in the pic.... you just have to look way way way out in front of the SRT-4.

both are FWD (and both are prone to traction issues)
Both are similar displacement (2.2 vs 2.4)
The SRT's have a LSD stock (better)
The SRT's have a 16 valve head vs a 8 valve head ( breathes better)
Both are fuel injected
Both have turbos
Both are made by Mopar
Similar weights (my SRT wieghs 2900 lbs, my Spirit RT weighs 3200)
So how are they SO DIFFERENT?

Its the SRT nationals. Period.

With your way of thinking with the SDAC crowd, then we should atleast only allow people with both cars to run for the their TDs in our class.

Like I told Dale in private, I understand fully what went on this year. there wasnt enough cars to make classes of it. I fully feel next year there will be..so why not make it happen

That would be cool!!!! Sunday would be the perfect day, I would think with the Cruise going on Sat. that any place that dyno's wouldn't want to be open, they would rather be at the Cruise. Sunday though, a dyno day would probably be packed!!!

Lon's (Dasmopar) car is in the 10's and drives it on the street. He was going to go this year but a issue with the car came up.

He's also on the NOS to make it to the 10's. That strictly boost 10.74 is very impressive.

And I agree, I wish some of the big boys were there to. As it was, my car with a 11.61 pass, and consistant 11.7's was the fastest SRT there. If you would have told me that before the event, I would have never believed it!!!

he ran 11.00X with 27psi only so the n2o wasent needed. The n2o just made the issue worse.

And you make that public??? That's something I wouldn't have put on a public forum, that I added a shot of NOS and only ran .4 faster. But hey, it got him into the 10 second club, so good for him!!! I really hope the issues he has had/is having (he said the car was having problems, thus no trip to the Nats) get ironed out and he hits low 10's. Its always been public that he ran n2o. Im sure you meant this in away thats not showing through in your post [as I know you], but its kind coming off dick like.

Yes, I knew he needed the NOS to get into the 10's, I just didn't know he ran an 11.00X without it. He posted his best time of 10.96. .04 seconds for a shot of the juice just doesn't seem worth it to me. And then he goes on to say that he had all the power he needed, he just needed to get it to the ground. Wouldn't a logical next step be suspension instead of another power adder? Again, I don't know the car, the person, the situation, the anything. Hell, I shall just shut my pie hole, I don't want to offend anyone. Das has a 10 second car, I don't (yet). Enough said.

You are correct but there is a couple parts between the crank and the wheels. Generally the clutch.....Seems the one in it didnt like well over 600ftlbs of tq

What did he end up with??? I have a PTP Stage4 in mine, and I love it. Very good engagement (no race clutch type feel), and is holding the power very well so far.

Man you have alot of nerve seeing as you didn't even drive your own car. The N20 pass was at a diffrent track with bad track prep. The car was .100 slower in the 60ft and after the 1/8th mile .200 slower than the Boost only pass. it made it all back up plus some in the 2nd half of the track. After that we started having problems with the clutch not holding the power. Seems pretty stupid huh? trying to go faster. Jeesh what were we thinking?

Well, you have alot of nerve saying I have alot of nerve when you weren't even there I could say I did drive my car, and you would never be the wiser, because again, I was there, and you weren't so neener neener neener.

It's all good dude, you don't have to get your panties in a bundle, I give your car props, it's in the 10's, and you got it done. I don't care HOW it got there, it's there. Good job. Now sell the NOS, get a better clutch, and run mid 10's damnit!!

And who is "we"???

I'm already figuring out what kinda person you are. You would be willing to lie about something like that? Nice.

As for my panties being in a bunch you are right. You talk on here like you have it all figured out and criticize what WE (That would be Tat2punk, Vector and I.) are trying, and doing but you have your car built for you and driven for you. 11.6 is moving and I'm sure the car has more in it yet but don't talk like you have ran a 10 sec pass because you have done nothing but opened your wallet.

The N20 is staying and feel free to PM me for some info when you figure out you want it also.

Lets not go there. you got all pissed that Stan ASSumed things and your doing the same thing. Hell the car made 80whp at the SAME boost just last night. There was zero tuning and no alignment[after the coilovers and camber plates] and NO weight redux with a new driver. Let alone no cam timing and 13 psi less than it will be runing tuesday

Well, I expect that next year there won't be any Shelby cars there, so you won't have to worry about getting beat by them.

I also want a new 1st place trophy for Autox Modified class from last year's Nats, because I came in 2nd and was beaten by an Acura. He shouldn't have been allowed in my class. Dale can you take care of that, please? Just bring it along with you to St. Louis tomorrow.

There should be plenty of Shelbys at the event next year, I've been told that having the convention there probably won't happen, but many of the owners who were there are looking forward to returning.

I don't really feel like moderating a thread right now, but it would be nice if the people who didn't bother to attend would stop arguing about mythical cars that weren't there as well....

Isn't there a better place for that conversation?

LOL. Im not worried about getting beat by them.

I didnt have my car there. Besides this has nothing to do with worry. This is about the rest of the community. Alot of newer guys need a chance also.
