Default New Nationals Leadership

It's time for new leadership for the SRT/ Modern Mopar Nationals event to step up.

The 2006 event was a pretty decent success, showing about 400% growth over the 2005 event.

Everything is in place for matching that growth for 2007, we have the website, on-line registration, the event site, and the hotel.

What we need is someone to take over the responsibility of spreading the word about the event and somebody to help Greg Delp with securing vendors and sponsorship for the 2007 event.

Neither job is trivial, but that's why it's important that somebody else steps in and then steps up to the challenge.

If you've attended the events in the past, and want to be able to attend them in the future, it's time to help out. Greg and I can't do this all by ourselves again.

We're looking forward to getting you started, so sign up now, before it's too late.

Regards,
Dale

I don't want to "take over" anything but i would be glad to be a part to help this years event out. I would be happy to help do Page Ranking and advertising for the event along with sponsor and vendor contacting. Just shoot me an email with what we are looking to get started and i will get to work.

Still looking for someone, or a couple someones, willing to accept some responsibility for the 2007 Nationals event.

I'll still be there to handle organization and registration, but need someone to make a commitment to getting more cars and vendors there.

If nobody steps forward, I will cancel the event on the 25th of September.

Regards,
Dale

Say it ain't so!!

I'm not sure exactly what kind of help you need spreading the word out about the event but man don't give in!

I'm no marketing major but what kind of help are you looking for specifically? Sig advertising or just geting on the phone and calling whomever to promote the event?

What is still needed? Who do you need? Experts or just helpers?

Helpers are nice, but what I need is someone who can be responsible to the event. In a nutshell, someone besides myself willing to put $10k to $20k on the line and hope everything works out.... I did the whole $40K plus last year, not risking the house or selling the cars again...

I signed all the contracts myself last year, and worked way too many hours. I can't do it all this time. Gargoile has stepped up, but we haven't been able to talk on the phone yet. I don't think he realizes who much time it is going to have to put in yet. He can probably use a lot of help...

It will be his responsibility to grow car count far beyond those who come from SRTforums. The rest of the Mopar family needs to know about the event and what it offers them. I can continue doing what I am good at, organizing the event and keeping registrations straight, but we need a team of people that can average about 25 signups a week...

If we don't make the deposits on the track, the banquet, the insurance, and the block of rooms soon, we'll be playing catch-up again.

alot of them dont really care that much, all they care about is making money, thats how alot of businesses are... but there are those out there that do care for the cause....like S&P for example, they made a big showing at this years nats. i know there were other vendors there, but they stuck out and it seemed liked they went above and beyond.
