My drive home

Yea it was a long drive home alone thats for sure. In between topeka and st. louis I had a hard time getting gas. The gas light came on so figured I would try to find one thats open hopefully ya know. Well I see a citgo or conoco with its lights on so I got off the exit. While I am driving up to the gas station I see this big black guy in a trench coat standing there. LOL I stopped in the street and turned around. I know its wrong to judge like that, but I didnt want to take any chances being that its out in the middle of nowhere and he is alone. So as I turn around I see the sign that says I-70 east. I take the road and realize its the road beside the interstate..... I keep going to look for a spot to turn around, but I see a sign that says I-70 east straight. So I keep going hoping I get to the next exit or see the sign to get back on it. Fast forward....I ended up turning around because the road started going away from the interstate into what looked like swamp land. I decided to take a look at the gas station again....this time the guy was gone. None of the pumps took cards so I headed on to talk to someone inside. Well when I walked up to the door all the lights were on so I opened up the door. I said hello like 10 times and never heard anything. The hair on my back started to rise up on my back and I decided to leave. I of coarse whiped my finger prints off of the door in case something was going on haha. I ended up going almost 50miles out my way by doing this.

So I finally get on the interstate....my gas light starts blinking now. I pull off the next exit to see a closed station. I also see 3 canadians that seemed to be looking for gas too. I turn around once again and proceed east to the next stop with the canadians to get some gas. Funny thing is though that I told the canadian folks about this gas station thing. They said "The door was unlocked for you? because it was locked when we tried to get some gas" They also had to pee so decided to go right there on the ground hahaha. Hopefully nothing happened there at that gas sation, but everything seems to have fallen into place that something may have happened.

On my way home I was getting tired for sure. Running off and on to the median was starting to be a common thing so I decided to pull off and park for 2 hours in the mcdonalds parking lot. Got back on the road and about an hour later was tired again so I pulled off once again to a parking lot and snoozed for 2 hours. I then got back on the road and hurried on home. I got back home around 5pm sunday night....so from 9pm saturday to sunday night at 5....gosh that was a long trip home.

I hear ya.I got lost there off of I-70 and some guy opened his overcoat to show me a great selection of watches he had!!In my teens a buddy and I got lost in K.C.Saw a brother jogging and asked for directions back to I-70.He saw the beer I had in my lap and the cooler.He got the last two beers for directions!!The directions were "Go to the stop light,follow the signs"!
