I would like to add, in addition to reading the forums on the event site, please read the event site itself. It should answer your questions. If you can't find something on the site (there is actually a search option on the left-hand side), feel free to ask in the event forums.

Please just don't say, "I don't have any updated information!" All the information is on the event site.

I heard they wouldn't allow his goat to go with him....

....so they gave him a camel instead.

The buzz has been like zero.. Can we get a few guys that we can count on to create a thread that will get constant bumps and chatter going back and forth about going.. Maybe someone can call dale and ask him whats going on. I need to buy plane tickets or something and want to know that there is gonna be more than 12 people there..

There hasn't been much chatter here, because I don't think many folks from here are going. We've been talking about it on our local club's site (St. Louis club). Several are going from our club, and not all are Neons so they're not on here much.

The buzz has died in our local forum. The only people that want to go now only want to ride down there and watch. I know money is tight and it will be around 1000$ in gas there and back, but still.

$1000? I wouldn't think it would be more than $500 (even in Canadian $).

Edit... Hmm...unless you're towing, I guess. That could be $1K.

2500 miles one way. @ 25 mpg that is 100 gallons at 3.5 a gallon is 350$ OR 700$ Return

Race gas at the track is not cheap either... so it will be close to that.

Plus hotels and stuff.. so like 2000$ for the trip.
