We have just had one of our drivers drop out of the event due to family issues that need to be taken care of over the next month or two.
We need one adult who can join us at the Tire Rack in South Bend, Indiana on May 4, and travel with us until May 12.
The candidate will be a non-smoker, but can have tattoos. Must be able to sleep in a moving vehicle, maintaining a three hour drive, three hour sleep schedule throughout the event.
Information Technology experience is a plus, Video camera (broadcast quality) experience is also a plus. Neither is required, primary responsibility is the safety of the video team on the road during the event.
We are an official media team for One Lap of America, and the only media team providing daily 'almost live' video on the internet. We are also the only media team collecting and using in-car/on-car video.
Please, serious inquiries only. If you are unsure of your ability to drive safely at night, or are unable to handle the discipline required to meet our sleep/drive schedules, do not apply. We have no reservations about leaving a teammate who is not performing to our standards along the road or at a gas station anywhere in the country.
Hotel and fuel costs will be absorbed by the team, food and other costs are your responsibility.
Please respond by PM if you would like to be part of our team.
Regards,
Dale Seeley

Somebody for sure needs to jump on this offer. You will have the time
of your life let alone work for one of the most respected teams in
all of the paddock. There is nothing better than Onelap memories.
I for one will always be a Lap puppy and damn proud of it.
Just do it
Erich H and I favorite line "Just shut up and drive"
Planning to finish up that three-peat of finishing behind us?
Just kidding of course, I know you can beat the media van...
Along the same lines of this thread, be sure to keep track of all of the One Lap action, almost live, at MoparsAtTheTrack.com
There is a button at the top of the Nav bar that will take you to all of the pre-event, and event videos. Last year we counted over 1.8 million downloads, this year we're planning for 10 million downloads in two weeks.
If you get a chance to visit the event at one of the tracks, make sure you do it. Erik (Gargoile) brought us lunch at VIR last year, now he's part of the show...

3-peat? Only Keith ran in 2005.
Thanks for the confidence booster, but don't get all mushy on us now ...
How come I got stuck eating the crappy track food, Erik? Must have been because I was the cocky one in the car that nobody liked.
This is going to be a blast. Think of what happens at the Nationals and cross it with a National Lampoon movie and make it a week long event
Don't ask me I'm just the driver.

How many of our country's problems could be solved – and solved quickly – if politicians were more worried about what is good for our country rather than how to protect their positions of power?
We've found our new driver, keep an eye out for her in the event videos...
Speaking of the videos, this year we are hosting them on the MoparsAtTheTrack.com website, in the forums. Be sure to follow the event 'almost live' with us, all new equipment means we'll have better footage and faster editing, which means you'll have more quality carnage to watch.
Henessey's new Viper is sick, and it's being driven by the Woodhouse World Challenge Viper driver, and our Lead Instructor at MATT, Brian Smith.
The craziest STi ever built, entered by DynoWorks of Arizona, is running head to head with our S3R SRT-4 team. To be honest, I'm hoping Enrique takes a wrong turn in Alburquerque and misses a couple days of the event That's the only way we'll keep up with him and Richard.
If you get a chance to come to one of the tracks to see the event, do it, and spend the rest of the week hitting "refresh" waiting for the next new video.
OMG! I just now looked at the schedule....and immediately started having flash backs of DEER running EVERYWHERE!!!!!!! The cold dark mountain side, crushed metal, blood and guts and shit everywhere. Who could forget the piles of flesh, bone, antlers and blood stained highway divider wall. Ashely came running out to the garage yelling what's wrong....I didn't even realize I was screaming..............
