Default Hotels near MMP

Had a friend do a GPS search for hotels near MMP and this is what he came up with.

Only thing though is pretty much everything around this place is bad..meaning stuff is most likely going to get stolen at these hotels. I think some have security cameras, but the actual hotels themselves are not great at all. I lived up there for a little bit and have also asked some friends for help who live up there. They agreed we will have to drive a little bit to get there, but staying in Bartlett or Cordova are would be best as they have nice hotels that can accomadate us the best.

Quality Inn Suites - 17 miles from track

8166 Varnavas Dr, Cordova, TN
(901) 386-4600

Comfort Suites - 16.8 miles from track
2427 N Germantown Pkwy, Cordova, TN
(901) 213-3600

Microtel Inn & Suites - 16.8 miles from track
2423 N Germantown Pkwy, Cordova, TN
(901) 213-4141

http://www.choicehotels.com/ires/en-...;promo=gglocal
IMO Quality Suites is the best option available. They offer the following..
  • Free hot breakfast buffet
  • Free manager's reception with cocktails and snacks
  • Free local calls
  • Free weekday newspaper
  • Free coffee
Here are some pictures of the hotel..

Prices for this hotel range around $90-105 from what I could tell. I havent had the chance to call them to see about availability of the hotel rooms or what sort of security and space they have available for folks with trailers. I figure whomever is wanting to ask about using there facilities for our banquet if we are still having one, etc as you can see they have the means to do so.

Yeah Quality Suites doesn't look too bad. Rates show $90/night for there so that's doable.

Well here is the place I was thinking about staying at. It does cost a little more but not much. ~$99 a night and they have a casino on site among other things. And if you like country music Billy Currington will be there in concert the 28th.

I use to live in tunica while working at the casinos out there. The casinos are ok, but not great. Plus your in the middle of nowhere...although right on the outskirts of memphis before you get into tunica there is a strip club there. Then again its not that great of a club.

I am up for whatever though.

Strip clubs and nats. Ahhh, just like last year

Not too big into gambling and country music needs to of itself. But on the flip side, I do enjoy seeing people lose their money though and being drunk when "there's a tear in my beer" song comes on

But you gotta be careful with those strip clubs and the souf. One false move or step into the wrong place and you'll think you see a nice looking woman up there. That is until the lights come on ....

Also I found out when nascar comes to town alot of those guys either stay in the admirality inn that is in millington and the magnolia inn and suites. you'll see their haulers parked there over nights so it can't be that bad.

Can we start booking rooms now, and do we need to mention we're with MATT?

I'd wait...
I have reserved the entire hotel for Wed night through Monday, but now they are being buttheads about some of the details... It's just a case of the managers are away and the front desk people aren't empowered to make decisions...

They have moved up the opening of their second building to accomodate us though, I feel very positive that this will work out for everyone.

Please move all discussions to the Host Hotel Information thread at http://forums.srtnationals.org/ (for some reason I can't cross post the actual thread address from there). If you're not a member yet, please join!

Can you just not link it on here because an admin said not too?
